A wife comes up behind her husband as he's watching a football game on TV, and slaps him on the head with a rolled up newspaper.

"Ouch!" he yells. "What's wrong with you?"

She shows him a scrap of paper with "Mary Lou" scribbled on it.

"I found this in your jacket pocket," she barks.

"Oh......that," he says. "I was at the track yesterday. Some guy gave me the name of a good horse."

Two days later, he's watching another game and his wife smacks him on the head with a metal ruler.

"Geez, Hilda," he says, "Now what's wrong?!"

"Your horse just called," she yells.

Foursome was putting on the green when suddenly a funeral possession passed by. One of golfers suddenly took off his cap, placed it upon his heart and began to weep. After the possession had passed one of his fellow golfers says, "I didn't know you had such a heart." The golfer replied, it's the least I could do, she was my wife for fifty-six years.
