COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A woman was arrested Monday on charges she falsely told the FBI that her estranged husband was plotting to bomb the U.S. and Saudi embassies in London. Kadrah Farah Ali, 42, was taken into custody at her home in Columbus.
Last month, Ali allegedly reported to the FBI that her husband, Osman Yusef Dirie, told her that he and four Moroccans were going to bomb the embassies.
The FBI notified the CIA and British authorities. They interviewed Dirie in England, where he lives, but did not charge or arrest him.
Ali later told officials that she made up the story to hurt Dirie, who she said married her to become a U.S. citizen, the FBI said.
Both are from Somalia, but Ali is an American citizen, the FBI said.
If convicted, she could get up to five years in prison.
What's the over/under on how long before her lawyer says she was abused by her hubby?
Uh,....She and He,.....and 'Others'.....are on a 'Phishing Trip'....
....are they 'trolling' for 'moles'.....
/James 'Jesus' Angleton and J. 'Edgar' Hoover....
/the 'leaky' boat?
So, she is arrested, but the man who wrote the letter, saying he wanted to kill President Bush, is still a free man. What a world.
At Heathrow Airport an individual, later discovered to be a
public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight. He
was in possession of a compass, a protractor, and a graphical
calculator.
Authorities believe he is a member of the notorious al-Gebra
movement.
He is being charged with carrying weapons of math instruction.
and how long before the movie shows up on LMN...Life-time Man -hater Network..LOL
(And I think algebra is actually an arabic word).
Al means the. I have no idea what gebra means, probably something to do with algebra. LOL. BTW, alcohol also has an Arabic root but they are forbidden to drink. Go figure.
In a rare moment of unserious behavior (rare due to my overwhelming workload, school and family obligations), I read the this headline and L'dMAO.
Thanks for the post. My day will be better now.
Thanks for the deeper dive. Appreciated.
