Blogosphere 1, Liberals 0 -- It is the borderlessness of the Internet that has made possible the release of the truth about the Liberals to the Canadian public. Yet we are still in a phase of change where the Liberals are able to harass and intimidate some Canadian blogs, such as NealeNews, into silence. At this point, it was the Americans who came to Canadians aid, by posting the information denied to Canadians on a number of American websites. |
Beat to Quarters (FR mentioned) | ||
-- Captain's Quarters has really stirred up the Canadian blogosphere by carrying details of court testimony on a governmental scandal that is banned from publication in the Great White North. The scandal is about the use of Canadian government money, laundered through a private ad agency, to hire Liberal Party hacks, and is so serious it may catapault the Canadian conservatives into power. This incident marks one more step by the blogosphere into the realm of news generation as opposed to mere commentary. |

Now that Canadian voters have awarded a minority government to the Conservative Party, politicians and bureaucrats in Ottawa are busy preparing for the first major desk-swap in years.
Paper shredders, for example, have been in high demand as public servants prepare to spend a few late nights erasing confidential records before the Tories take office, said Kathy Brock, a political science professor at Queen's University. Shipleys office told me that there is a 3 party agreement to go after corruption. He said it is far from done...Its only just begun. Electoral Governance CentralA new blog by Brad Farquhar. Much has been made of Stephen Harper standing up to the US on the issue of Arctic sovereignty.
Not to take away from Harper's performance, but you do realize it was a test, don't you? And I think Stephen Harper passed.
Lorne Gunter points to media chatter about the number one problem facing Conservatives electorally - the Liberal domination of the nation's cities;
(Read the rest of Gunter's piece here.) It's the favorite leftist pastime to pit one leftist created group against another. The politics of envy.
Gunter is absolutely right. Dave Warren has an interesting view of this phenomenon at http://tinyurl.com/79hrv.

The other interesting thing that I keep noticing is that the "3 Largest" argument is just plain WRONG anyway."
First, it's the CBC admission of a "Heil Harper" cut and paste "error", and now this;
Full screencap here.
Wow!
The CBC is Pravda. The liberal scumbags up there are as bitter, goofy, and utterly irrational as ours. Their antics are incredibly amusing. You'd think their special gerbils had died or something.
I suspect Mr. Harper's threat to defund their gun registry scam ( 80 million dollar projected cost skyrockets to 2 billion dollars, with no upper limit in sight... while crime explodes... ) has them worried that their gravy train may get similar treatment.
See tagline...
Oddly enough, I first took that to be a compliment; To which I can only respond - what's a "Babble"?
It is like I am finding on my site, with the Andrew Krystal saga. I have had countless e-mails thanking me for making the discussion and the soundtrack available.

Recall the two posts I put up concerning Andrew Stronach, brother of Liberal MP Belinda Stronach? How he seemed to be in charge of an online gambling operation...Well, the main stream media has picked up the story...Maclean's has added some fascinating details, details that have suggested to me a remarkable model...A model that is, frankly, very disturbing.
A new blog aggregator. Looks like darned near everybody is already on it, and then some!
... looks to be suffering a few setbacks.
Bush's approval ratings have climbed back to 50%, the Dem's attempt to mount an Alito fillibuster has just failed (in a cloture motion of 72-25), and now HillaryCommander In Chief has been cancelled!
As reaction from the grassroots begins to roll in, reader Meg writes;
Between this and Cindy Sheehan's senate campaign, the fun's only starting, I'm sure.
(I actually like the sound of that - the "Harper Neo-Cans". Remember you heard it here first!)
It didn't take long for Michaelle Jean to pick up where Queen Adrienne left off. Governor General spent $1,500 on food, $380 on wine
Fraud charges are laid in the DND computer billing scam...cost the federal government more than $100 million. Comments (53)
