Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
Check this out everyone!

You will not believe the provisions in that law!
WOrse...felos was associated with this...as was Greer...while the SCHIVO "I want to KILL MY BURDENSOME WIFE SO I CAN GET A CATHOLIC CHURCH WEDDING WITH MY CONCU...er...FIANCEE "(I never knew you could have a FIANCEE and be married at the same time!) and were working on this while actively representing michael the beast!
Florida is the place that so many Senior Citizens come to retire, and they end up dying there. I bet you dollares to donuts that Retiring folk now think twice about moving to Florida.

Everyon, go here and demand the DOJ investigate the Murder of Terri Schiavo! I just left them a huge request and let the article of which Nurse Aignes says terri was not PVS.
The death chamber is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!! They wouldn't allow photos DURING the murder but now they want people to think it was such a lovely setting. This just makes my blood boil!
I wish I could be there. I sent a sympathy card and wrote in it my heartfelt condolences. (I still can't believe this happened.)
I hope all of those who participated in any way in this atrocity will be held accountable.
I want to be on every Terri SCHINDLER ping list. Thank you! I will NEVER forget.
Your Post #31 - I love it!!!!
I send my prayers for Terri's family, especially her mother. How is she doing?
Why, thank you. I've added you now. :)

Theresa Marie Schindler... April Daily Thread 2005 CALL TO ACTION: Our Fight for Justice Continues
Good evening all!! Thanks for the new thread and the great title!! Hope you all are doing better today. We spent the day, at church and together as a family. Felt good. 45 year old daughter sang a beautiful solo this morning for communion!! " Remember Me" ........it was super and I was so proud of her. God Bless You all. Will be around tomorrow but for now, headed to bed early on the West Coast. Day light savings time is always miserable for the first few days!! ugg.
WISHING Terri's MEMORIAL MASS was going to be televised! *sigh*
Given the number of actions which an ordinary person would be taken as clear signs of divorce (melting her wedding rings; shacking up with another woman, siring children by her, and pledging to marry her; mentioning his 'fiancée' in his parents' obituaries without mentioning his wife, etc.) there is no reason to regard Theresa Marie Schindler as being Michael's wife in anything except the most sadistic legal sense.
That said, I prefer the orthography "Theresa Marie Schindler (Schiavo)" for the purpose of avoiding confusion.
I may sometimes call her Terri Schiavo, when I think it's necessary in identifying her to people who only know her as Terri Schiavo. Some of my son's friends call me by the name I used when I was married to his father over twenty years ago. No big deal, but that's not who I am. Terri quit being a Schiavo many years ago. She'll live on in my heart as Terri Schindler.
Thanks for the thread, FV. The conditions that allowed Terri Schindler's vulnerability despite the efforts of her parents and siblings must be addressed.
I must repeat......not just Florida and not new:

Only now a lot of people will miss this thread.
"Talk to the conditional attorneys that have spoken out for Terri to look at helping us pass a bill/amendment and how to make it foolproof ( or should I say Judgeproof)."
There was Jay Sekulow (Sp?) and one other whose name I could never seem to catch. On Hannity, he was particularly sympathetic to Terri's parents and said he couldn't as a parent, imagine this being done to his child. They are BOTH excellent and have a GOOD knowledge of the law.
Mel Gibson would be an EXCELLENT spokesman, I totally agree. He is sharp and surprisingly articulate. Also, Patricia Heaton.
I would probably make goals one and two equal. That is my humble suggestion.
Limiting the power of judges is an excellent goal. We might be taking on enough with goals one and two, I don't know.
It must a coalition across the board of conservatives, and supporters of Terri in the middle and on the left. This cannot be perceived as an effort on the part of people on the religious right ONLY or it will FAIL. That would be my strongest point.
It should be an open endeavor and everyones opinions and ideas should be encouraged. No person or group should feel alienated or left out. And no ONE person should be controlling the effort.
Otherwise, I think it might be necessary to explicitly say in the statutes that advance directives resulting in death should only be acted upon if there is no plausible way that those directives could have been faked. Of course, that's what "clear and compelling" evidence is supposed to mean, but with judges like King George on the bench one can never be too careful.
BTW, to avoid hangups with Browning, it might be necessary to allow oral declarations in certain circumstances. Having the legislature mandate the terms might be better than having the court do it. Therefore, I'd suggest something like the following [repost from another thread]:
Don't you think advanced directives resulting in death should only be in WRITING????
