Following it's earlier claim that Clive Owen has been confirmed as the 6th James Bond 007, IESB.com has released the evidence behind the headline.
After a few questions about his current movie 'Sin City' he was asked about the rumours regarding James Bond.
'Yes or no to Bond?' He said 'I will be busy for awhile' while nodding his head yes, and repeated it with a grin and a smile.
The report continued as saying that the reporter was then contacted by colleague that works with Clive and stated that Bond was a done deal and that an official announcement in the trades was being brokered.
One other inside source is telling the site to expect an official announcement next week after the release of 'Sin City.'

Talking about P2 inspired me to check the Internet again re: P2, while looking, I did find the P1 remake. Have you installed this?
It's 180MB, I got about 20% downloaded and it locked up all my Internet communications. I had to reboot my computer, cable modem and router/firewall to get back online. I was thinking it might not be a good idea to go back there again.
I also found this site which looks promising for P2. It tells how to copy, patch and burn a new P2 disc 1 for use on Windows systems. I think I'll give it a try.

When I was in 4th-7th grade, I read them all the time (and I still do). There aren't many better books for younger boys to read.
If I'm thinking of the right scene, I believe it was Goldfinger:
"During the dinner with M and Colonel Smithers, we see that the three men have each had at least one glass of what appears to be port wine (it’s not uncommon to have port after dinner with dessert or cheese). Smithers asks Bond to “Have a little more of this disappointing brandy.” M asks what’s the matter with the brandy, to which Bond replies “I’d say it was a 30-year-old Fine indifferently blended, sir.” He sniffs the decanter, and then adds, “With an overdose of Bon Bois.” M snips, “Colonel Smithers is giving the lecture, 007.” (Later, M sniffs the brandy to see what the fuss is about.) During the exchange, Bond refills his snifter from the decanter."

Agreed. And just reading had a great impact. One thing I learned at home and it was followed up on in catholic school. Read, read, read.

He doesn't look like a bad choice. It all went down hill for me after Connery. I grew up with him.

I was reading the Flemming books through the 60's. I didn't get into Nancy Drew too much, I was a girl/woman from stuff going on at home. I wanted the racier stuff. I read some of the Hardy Boys though. I read all of the horse stories then started in on Hobbit and Sci-Fi.
I started reading at 5. Some one gave us the Oz series and some of the drawings freaked me out so much I tore the pages out. That didn't go well with my mom. :(
I didn't know any of the girls in out clique who read them.
My wife loved the flicks, mostly because of Sean, but wouldn't pick up the book.
I gotta say I really liked that movie. He definitely outclassed wooden Roger Moore and frickin Timothy Dalton!
