Following it's earlier claim that Clive Owen has been confirmed as the 6th James Bond 007, IESB.com has released the evidence behind the headline.
After a few questions about his current movie 'Sin City' he was asked about the rumours regarding James Bond.
'Yes or no to Bond?' He said 'I will be busy for awhile' while nodding his head yes, and repeated it with a grin and a smile.
The report continued as saying that the reporter was then contacted by colleague that works with Clive and stated that Bond was a done deal and that an official announcement in the trades was being brokered.
One other inside source is telling the site to expect an official announcement next week after the release of 'Sin City.'

Imagine
Kilmer would make an excellent bond. I like him in parts where he kind of plays the bad guy.
Did you read the article?
"MORE importantly, who's the next Bond Girl gonna be?"
I just hope it's not gonna be Jessica Simpson or any of the new flock of Ding-Bats running around Hollywood!
Except for the fact that Bond works for Mi-5, and you can't have an American play the role (ian fleming's rule), he'd work great.
I agree. I also read that Brosnan was demanding $54 million for the next film.
I just can't imagine why they went for a new Bond.
/Sarcasm
Imagine no one going to see the movie. hehe
I don't know. I'd prefer Orlando Bloom...
No kidding.
Looks like the little red X was substituted for your picture.
Orlando is supposedly going to play 'Young Bond' in a new film coming out.
I'm sure Val could learn a psuedo Brit accent in no time.
And with Casino Royale being the next flick, if they're serious about going back to basics, Owen is the perfect choice...
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
It's Bond, sure to top 300 mill world wide. That's why they do the same thing over and over, we go see it.
Nah, the other Michael. You know. Jackson. He's perfect. Master of disguise. Rapport with the youth audience. Crossover appeal for all ethnic groups. Besides, he could use the work.
Robert Blake could play the villain. He could use the work too. OJ could put in a cameo. It would be the best Bond flick ever!
You mean MI-6, and even that's not definite. The only thing we REALLY know is that Bond works for the British Secret Service (the title On Her Majesty's Secret Service makes this pretty clear.) Two specific designations have been used for the Service - MI-7 (in Dr. No) and MI-6 (GoldenEye).
