Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
BTW, do military people ever 'name' their latrines? I wonder if any of them could drop a load on Judge Greer's head?
Why should he worry with the likes of hino? I know from experience that God will give him his just rewards. Just you wait and see.
Then it appears our Lord will take her home today, as many of us have thought would happen.
Thanks for sharing this reading. IT is the Word of God that brings us all HOPE and comfort right now. I am bookmarking this site. Thanks
Dear Lord, polly, that poor poor man. We should see to it that they have lots of support even if the unthinkable happens. Lots of cards and letters and such.
"My husband says he is afraid for what is going to happen to Michael Schiavo. Very afraid . . . this is spiritually speaking, mind you"
I should be afraid for MS spiritually..but I can't right now.. I''m more......anticipatory let's just say....
I am trying in my district review some of the curriculum materials they are using. I thought to write some articles or something to let parents know what is in the books. A group of parents working on this project would have a great deal of impact, I think.
One of the books they use to teach history to the advanced students in high school is the "people's history of the united states" by Howard Zinn, which deconstructs our true history and promotes collectivism. Its an awful book.
What a can of worms this all looks like.
Frightening.
Worth repeating:
JUDICIAL HOMICIDE UPON THE DISABLED IS THE LAW OF AMERIKA
"I think they'll be too terrified to be indignant"
That works too....
The very best are wonderful. The worst, you might as well have saved your money.
If it is possible to weep in heaven, Mother Cabrini and St. John Bosco and the other teacher saints must be weeping over what has happened to the schools
Your right. I attended both public and Catholic and can tell you my scars are from the Public. My Catholic school was very good.
"When I got through to his office last night, I was told he was still working on it and to keep watching the news."
The statement was incomplete. He said he would act only within the law and there were people there still looking for an avenue. He stated that he wishes he had the power to save Terri that some are attributing to him.
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
Romans 8:
38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,
will be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You can rest assured that the Christian community is NOT going to walk away from the Schindlers or this situation!!!!!!! This is going to have long lasting trickle down affects on our NATION and WORLD!!
So, Terri told you she wanted to be dehydrated to death? Even hino admitted on national tv that he didn't know what she wanted, or did you miss that little tid bit, huh? He said that on Larry King Live so google it or find the link around here and educate yourself before you go putting words in Terri's mouth. Words Terri actually said was, "where there's life, there's hope."
God will give him his just rewards, but many of us on earth will probably not live to see it. Maybe we can view in from heaven. Sometimes though I wonder if he won't be able to con God to, sacrilegious though that may sound.
I've got to wonder how much of Jeb's words are true ignorance of the laws of his own state and how much is CYA BS....
never thought America would become Amerika....but it has, just in my lifetime.
Now that invokes a fascinating mental picture!
Nope...God can't be conned, no worries.
