Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Terri is still alive and holding her own -- a tremendous will to live. But no one in authority will recognize her as a human being. She is an unwanted "vegetable" to official government.
I agree Theodore.
FLORIDUH VOTER~~~
OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU~!!
"If was done in an overpowering way, no."
well then, perhaps that's the answer...
Word today at our Easter dinner was everyone angry at George and Jeb for allowing this to happen to Terri, even my brother, who is not an emotional type was angry and upset over what has happened. If these fools are listening to these polls and think that most people want Terri dead than they are more stupid than I thought, the polls are definitely biased against Terri, the real people in this country care about what has happened to Terri and will show it when it comes time to vote.
Updates - Floriduh voter just stopped in to dispell the lying media. Seems the latest spin is there's violence from the protesters - NOT.
FV also says Terri is still hanging in there. Gibbs earlier said she was past the point of, well, you know. The Schindlers said Gibbs said that without their approval.
Terri did finally get communion but wine only because her tongue was too dry to take the host.
It's going to have to be challenged by someone. If Frist can't, he'll have to move over and let someone else take it on.
The problem will only get worse if it's not dealt with.
I had wondered about that. I did not go to church but I wondered if it would even be mentioned by church leaders.
LOL! No doubt.
Sorry. You said "Easter Dinner." I thought I remembered you said you were going to church earlier. Maybe that was someone else. I'm still curious how pastors and church leaders handled this.

It looks as if we are ALL expendable. But obviously (just as in Nazi Germany) the disabled, elderly and poor will be the most vulnerable...
Don't worry, the media is there and they can see what is going on! It is a miracle that Terri is still alive and responding at this point! So, why isn't anyone doing anything about it? Has anyone for Terri gotten in touch with people at all that could help! WHy isn't Congress issung the Subpeona tonight right now for Terri with the Nationaly Gaurd in tow? I'm so flaming mad already that I can't function! I can't believe that we have a murder going on in our country of which everyone knows about yet our leaders are doing nothing to stop it! I'm so ashamed of the America I once loved and knew!
Dr. Frist looks like an old Boy Scout. He is in way over his head. Probably a great surgeon but a weak politician. He helped to write the failed Senate version of the national law to save Terri.
Theodore R. wrote: Still, can you see Dr. Frist really confronting the issue of judicial tyranny after what George W. Greer managed to achieve in Pinellas Co.?"""
I do NOT trust Frist! I do however, trust Delay. Read his exact words and you will understand. I doubt Delay knew the Lawyer for the Schindler's would have failed getting a de nova hearing from the Federal courts.
Delay is on our side and is one of few who are, in my humble opinion. All you have to do is this:
Look at those who are currently attacking Delay -->
THE MSM and the stinking ACLU types who are freedom of religion.
Yes it is a miracle! God we pray that you save Terri! Please God!
If Frist doesn't tell the dems that there will be no filibustering of Bush's nominees after all that has happened in this case, then he is hopeless....
This is a perfect example of one judge using his power to usurp the wishes of the people through their representatives, Governor, and POTUS---
I know that Reid and Leahy and Kennedy prolly already have a speech prepared warning Frist and the Reps not to use this case for policital "gain", but Frist needs to point out to them, that "the people" the put them ALL there, democrat and republican alike will vote them out, if something isn't done about activist judges....
I was really disappointed last night, when I heard that the reason that Sen. Kent Conrad (D) of North Dakota, and Sen. Tom Harkin (D) of Iowa prolly only voiced their pro-Terri stance on the Senate floor last week because they are both in trouble in their states in the upcoming election...
Don't know if that is true, but since I wouldn't trust Tom Harkin any further than I could throw him, I don't doubt it much...
Eleanor Clift regularly violates the biblical injunction that one "ought not to think too highly of himself," wouldn't you agree?
Harkin is not up for reelection until 2008. People in IA have traditionally considered him indispensable.
