Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

What is so amazing about Hal Lindsey is if you have never read a book such as Late Great Planet Earth go read it now and see how amazing his phrophecy of the scriptures have been

I read Late Great when it first came out more than thirty years ago -- it is what got me interested in Biblical prophecy. Hal didn't hit it right in every case (he never intended to. He's not a prophet, he just said, it's possible THIS could happen or THIS could happen if trends continue as they are...projecting what ifs). He hit it more often than not and it's astonishing to read Late Great NOW.
They have always estimated that we only use 10% of our brain to begin with. Just a matter of doing a little cross circuitry to other areas when it is damaged. That is what Dr. Hammesfahr and therapy does.
I think that's the book I read...if that was out back in the mid to late 70's....I will have to go get that, again. I'm certain my daughters will also be interested in reading it.
During the Tsunami, and a couples times before that, my children, especially my oldest, expressed great concern that we may be living in the end times....my oldest stated (before December) she believes the Lord is coming soon.

I read he's a math teacher. I think I read the article here on FR. He also likes Springstein and went to see him in concert. After the concert whenever it was, he went to see Terri and told her about it. He said Terri gave him a big smile. She was the one who gave him his first Springstein album. He knows she can hear and understand him.
He also saw "Passion of the Christ" last year and said it changed his life.
You sure do! Feinstein is all for euthanasia and so is Boxer. You can start by getting them voted out! Both are also two-faced, Feinstein hates guns and yet she carries two because her life is more important to protect than any one elses.
California is also the "Super" home of scientology, if you take them one you'll find yourself in the same position as McPherson's parents.
I do think Greer is in contempt of congress myself, although it would have to go to court to get the supoenas enforced, and there is some concept that they might be on technically shaky ground that would cause yet another constitutional crisis...
What happens if a court rules that the only reason the congress issued the supoenas was to interfere with the legal actions of a court on a valid court matter?
So much potential mess!
I suspect Congress will drop the subject, because of the issues...but it would do my heart happy if they got Greer, MS and Felos on contempt charges. I don't think we are yet at that point.
But think about how the Alamo became a rallying point. The fort was lost, the defenders died, but it became a rallying point for the Texas War of Independence. Or the evacuation of the British soldiers at Dunkirk became a powerful image for the Allies in WWII.
This is not the end of the fight. The fight for life will always have Terri's smile to give it a real face.

For myself, I'm fine with that. For my daughters, I understand where they are coming from....they know they'd be happy in heaven, but they want to experience having a husband who loves them and children, and life.

I know. My best friend since 4th grade got trapped in their "Sea Org" in LA. Brainwashed her. We stopped being friends afterwards because she wasn't allowed to communicate with outsiders. She was early 20's then. Best friends, from 4th grade until ~23 years old.

I'm positive of it. No matter how horrible we've made things down here, He will give us options. We have a choice to be made here, do we support Him and life or satan and death. I truly believe our choices here will be set in stone.
Unfortunately, Terri's case is just one face of the pro-death crowd. We have lost more than 40 million Americans to abortion in the last thirty years, and Lord knows how many seniors are being starved and dehydrated to death daily, not to mention the handicapped. The Lord has been merciful to us...he gave us W (whom I love, despite my great disappointment now) and he has been a blessing in so many ways. God had mercy on us. But how long his mercy is going to hold out now, I don't know. America has been given a chance to speak out in horror about what happened to this dear, innocent woman...and yet the majority of them stood like spectators at a gladiator fight and screamed for her to die. God won't smile on that...and I wouldn't blame him. I fear for this nation, I fear for my OWN way of life, and I fear for our future.
I want desperately to say God have mercy...but I am wondering why he should.
