Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Well, I have every intention to make sure that JEB never forget this! I plan to e-mail him every day for as long as it takes and tell hm he could have done something and he didn't. Tell him we all know the ttruth behind what happend to Terri and that he has lost all of us and his party is now torn apart thinks to him!
We are checking into this as well!!!
When you pass through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. For I am the LORD, your God. ~Isaiah 43:2
The Lord God will help me, therefore shall I not be confounded. Therefore, have I set my face like a flint and I know that I shall not be ashamed. ~Isaiah Chapter 50, verse 7
To know that nothing hurts the godly, is a matter of comfort; but to be assured that all things which fall out shall co-operate for their good, that their crosses shall be turned into blessings, that showers of affliction water the withering root of their grace and make it flourish more; this may fill their hearts with joy until they run over. -- Thomas Watson
YES, Supercat!!
I fault Jeb LESS for not doing something this past week, than what HE COULD HAVE BEEN DOING for the past 10 years. He could have gotten some kind of investigation put together, I would think. He could have been more involved with the law makers to change the law about feeding tubes, these past 10 years. The last minute crunch, if that were all the time he had to do something about is not the case here. Why couldn't have have gotten some kind of law enforcement investigation into the "alleged" criminal abuses?
President Hillary will thank you for supporting the Constitution Party in 2008, don't kid yourself.
Leaving for a short while...will be back soon.
I am so afraid that Terri is going to go to be with the Lord while I have to be at a family Easter gathering tomorrow...I don't want to do this this year...but perhaps this is the very best time to do it...Christ turned death into life...an outstanding reminder.
Lord God, be with dear Terri right now. Stand by her bedside, hold her hand. Whisper gentle words of love into her ear and let her feel your breath upon her fact and the sunshine of your love against her skin.
I still feel it's because he's covering his brother's rear due to Jeb signing that new hospice ruling. In '99, Jeb signed into law a statute stating that it was ok to withdraw feeding tubes. If Jeb saved Terri, the media would crucify him. Of course, saving Terri was Jeb's only hope of the presidency, so he's a lame duck as of today.
No, I've been talking about Jeb Bush all this time, not the President....sorry.
Well, 6 of the 7 Republicans on the appeals court in Atlanta voted for MRS.
That is truth...
Jeb and the entire FL congress knew 15 months ago that something had to be done. None of them did a thing.
There's the rub. Many learned that lesson with Perot.
You forgot to include the "BWAHAHAHA!"
Exactly my point. The Florida Congress waited until this past week to do anything. They should have been "pushed" into doing something over a year ago...so that it would be perfectly clear, pass muster, not done in haste....passed by a wide margin...etc.
I'm sure the Schindlers and Terri would want you to be with your family tomorrow. Terri can't be with hers. Go, and be happy your loved ones are there around you.
well this is going to have a real black stamp on our land. When we take it upon our selves to kill a innocent one as Terri, God's judgement will come down with vengance. I think the same is true with abortion. God cries in the heavens over our sins.
