Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.

I vote to pull Michael Schiavo's feeding tube immediately
DO NOT BELIEVE PRESS REPORTS THAT PROTESTORS ARE PREPARING TO STORM THE HOSPICE.
It is media generated agitprop.
NO ONE in the crowd is saying that!
Done.
And done again.
I've given up on the media and have had the tv turned off since early this morning. It was those idiots on FOX Weekend that finally did me in.
"Dear Mr. President:
If good men don't fight as hard for good, as the evil doers fight for evil, evil will triumph.
Rescue Terri Schiavo!!"
My short e-mail to president@whitehouse.gov, and I put in a catchy subject line, in case that is all that is read.
If I go down, I will go down fighting!!
"I vote to pull Michael Schiavo's feeding tube immediately"
GREAT IDEA!! I like it.
The street is a deadend sack, too. They fenced everybody in, which makes it even worse. Dozens and dozens of kids and disabled people are there, too.
But I seriously doubt that will happen.
"And done again."
Thank you! :)
And now back to prayer.
Greer has NEVER seen Terri... EVER. Not once.
Yep, it sure was. Terri didn't have a chance once she was moved there.
I think things will get worse.

I agree.
What about Laura Bush? Where's the First Lady in all this? If the Bush boys don't have the gumption and are too afraid of getting empeached, Laura certainly doesn't have to worry over any of that. Laura should have been out 24/7 telling the truth about Terri and the media would have fallen all over themselves beggin to get a quote.
I'm very diappointed in the entire Bush family.
but his buds on the high court said that was okay---they sanctioned every violation of law that he engaged in
The only reason that some posters do this is to cause pain. Ignore. Don't give them the satisfaction.

That statement reminds me of the story of my father's last days..
He had always been a very strong man.. worked straight through a massive heart attack..didn't know he'd had one til the doctor told him during a checkup! He over came quadruple bypass and even cancer.. then he had a stroke while alone in his place... he apparently hit his head very hard.. he hovered near death for over a week.. then slowly got better.. still had a ways to go when they released him from hospital.. but he had to go somewhere with constant care.. all that would take him was this particular rest home.. I'd heard mixed reviews about the place and I didn't have any other options.. The staff seemed pretty good, he seemed to be getting care and therapy.. but he wasn't really improving ..and he slept ALOT.. I should have smelled something was up when they sent hospice workers over.. I didn't even know what that meant at the time.. I just thought they were nice ladies..
The doctor then told me they were putting him on anti-depressants because he seemed depressed.... I asked.. how do you know when he can't even speak and spends most of his time sleeping due to the drugs he was given.. they stammered out some answer.. but I was too meek to push it.. I figured they knew what they were doing.. he was out of it more and more til one day he finally died.... the exact same day his insurance was to run out....
He was only 59.. I didn't press the issue... I didn't even think about it because my grief was so deep.. I had just lost my mother the year before.. that was 5 years ago.
If only I had known then what I know now.....
it is my understanding that Laura is not hard core pro life.. so if abortion doesn't completely bother her, why should this?
