Judge George Greer ruled that the State of Florida has no right to take custody of Terri Schiavo, which ruling came hours after an appeal by Terri's parents to re-insert the feeding tube was refused by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, another hearing was scheduled tonight before US District Judge James D. Whittemore .. the same judge who previously heard and denied the request subsequent to the 'de novo' intention of the law past last weekend by the Congress and signed by President Bush, in an effort to confirm that no stone was left unturned before Terri would endure legally sanctioned dehydration until death.
Officers from the Pinellas Park Police Dept guard Woodside Hospice to ensure that no one brings Terri a glass of water. The cops are there to ensure that Terri will be starved and dehydrated to death.
Not only has the wealthy MRS not fixed Terri's wheelchair, he would not let a donor present her with a new one. Didn't want anyone from outside the
Auschwitz seeing her perhaps?
The Michael Schiavo supporters and MSM talking heads spin this that Greer was kicked out of his church!!!
Oh...pity the poor man...NOT!!!
Thanks for the article about the Greer Reaper resigning from his church. I'd heard on Fox last night he'd been asked to resign. Either way, the church is better off without him. For once, a church has stood up for what's right!
I believe we all know how he's going to rule on this. He's been consistant in ruling against the Schindler's. He could have, at several points, legally chosen a different outcome on this and chose not to do so. One thing he could have done was remove MS as guardian. He allowed her rehab monies to be tampered with after a jury awarded the money for that very purpose. He allowed her to be put in a hospice and put on medicaid.
It looks like it all goes back to the award money and keeping control of it.
We don't really know how much money is left in that trust fund. We only know what attorney and MS has said is there.
If they think money will buy happiness, well folks it won't.
Judas proved that. Love of money is the root of all evil.
You got that wrong. Apparently Greer is KING of the State of Florida.
Jeb, what IS the definition of RIGHT?
Some SHOWDOWN you had in Pinellas Park, Jeb.
Hang down your head, sir, hang down your head in shame.
Of course, we knew yesterday how he'd rule. He's just delaying it until noon hoping the case will be moot.
NO excuses, NONE!
I just read on the Lubbock Avalanche Journal that 63 percent in "conservative" Lubbock want Terri dead. This is where GWB lost his race for Congress in 1978. The Bushes probably reason with so many Americans in favor of dehydration and starvation of the handicapped that it would be politically unwise to act. Poll numbers do mean things to politicians.
Haven't you heard the new term for dehydration and starving? Heard ABC news this am, they have now invented "artificial nutrition" has been stopped. So now that ought to make all us sheeple out here feel all better. Expect to hear that term now.
And our hearts and minds are bleeding.
Hello all, Just got up. See nothing has changed once again! JEB has still done nothing! Lord have mercy!
We have just seen a bloodless coup in this nation, and our president and elected leaders stood by while a puny judge took power over America and murdered our citizens. Our press has become Pravada. I cannot believe this happened. It seems to have come out of left field, almost overnight...yet I know it's been building for years.
The question is...after Michael has had his way and Terri's ashes are scattered on HIS land so his parents do not even have a grave to visit...what happens next? Nothing?
Our leaders have become gutless...either that or they were in on the fix all the time.
I'm beginning to think that Jeb doesn't feel quite as remorseful as he would have us believe.
Someone needs to make a graphic to Lisa McPheresons autopsy picture...Euphoria in Florida, want some?
Does artificial nutrition include kool-aid?
