Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

I heard one of Michael's brothers say on Fox tonight that MS spent part if not all of the $300K on his nursing education.

So he used the money that was to be spent on Terri, to instead go to school and learn how to KILL Terri! As I said before, I'm convinced that's the real reason for the nursing degree.

saying he had decided to become a nurse so that he could take care of Terri,

Nothing could be more frightening than waking up and having Michael as your nurse?

Maybe he should have taken rehab instead of nursing.

I just have to say something to everyone....this is a tragedy that has brought us all together in the name of Jesus and to pray for our sister Terri...and no matter what happens, we need to keep this same zeal from now on...about everything that is happening in our country, it is time to take back our country from the people who have been trying to remove God from America...the more they succeed, the more we will see awful, horrific things...like the murder of little children, or kids shooting their grandparents or schoolmates, 9-11, and things like court-sanctioned starvation (murder) of our fellow believers. I really believe that God is calling us to band together as His soldiers and if we are doing it and Terri is still among us, even better, but if the unthinkable should happen (and believe me, I hate to even think of that) we cannot let Terri's plight go down in vain...(i can't bring myself to say death, so I said plight)...I'm happy to see us all together and know that God is still in control.

Sorry. I have had a chance to view both families. They are WORLDS apart. No comparison between the two. Furthermore, the Schiavo Brothers are arrogant LYING BULLIES.

IN many instances what you are saying is true. Not in this case.

"And they only need one more vote.
LORD, PLEASE SOFTEN THE HEART OF THE ONE MEMBER OF THE FL SENATE THEY NEED to pass SB 2128."

Description of the bill that Jeb Bush is still trying very hard to push through the Florida legislature:

"A bill that alters Florida law to create a general presumption for food and fluids for those who cannot speak for themselves would not face the separation of powers challenge. HB701 has been introduced by Representative Dennis Baxley. The identically worded SB 2128 has been introduced by Senator Stephen Wise. This bill has been drafted precisely to fit with controlling Florida Supreme Court opinions. It is carefully written to cover Terri’s circumstances. It would also bring protection in the uncounted number of unpublicized cases in which persons with disabilities similar to (and, in many cases, less severe than) those of Terri Schindler-Schiavo are routinely denied food and fluids in nursing homes, hospices, and hospitals."

Michael goes home and laughs about this. He thinks he is really something special. He has fooled a lot of naive people who are extremely poor judges of character.

He should run for office as a liberal democrat. The liberal freaks would enthusiastically lap up every single one of his pathetic lies.

The liberals will believe anything Michael Schiavo says and defend everything he does. How much more transparent can this case possibly be? His motives are obviously warped, sick and twisted.

Defend human rights for convicted murderers and war criminals. Kill the innocent and disabled. Modern day liberalism is 180 degrees out of phase.

The Nazi mentality never went away. It has resurfaced in America in the "minds" of the pro-death liberals in this country. The words and actions of American liberals helps to explain how Hitler duped a whole nation into following his madness and barbaric wickedness.

The "doctors" who carry out these mercy killings are modern day Josef Megeles and Jack Kevorkian types.

Sounds like a pattern to me - take 24 hours to decide - get her one more day closer to death. Give decision at dawn when everyone is sleeping. How very sickening.

Not propaganda. Even the Schindlers stated he did initially take her for treatment and allow therapy. It was after the malpractice trial that he then started giving his no rehabilitation orders. While the trial was going on he was trying his best to appear as a husband devoted to Terri's rehabilitation, testifying that he planned to be with Terri for the rest of his life. If he had done otherwise they wouldn't have had much reason to grant him money to pay for her therapy.

I agree. I have enormous respect for you all. While I see FR as my online home, I haven't been so involved with any as you all. I'm proud to have you as my brothers and sisters.

There was a thread in the last few days that cast Michael in a positive light, saying he had decided to become a nurse so that he could take care of Terri, and he took her to some experimental therapy treatment. Was that pure propaganda and lies?

He made those statements during his malpractice suit in 1992. His actions have proven quite the contrary since then. So a simple answer to your query would be, Yes.

>>someone explain to me why Michael Schiavo rejected offers of both $1 million and $10 million to relinguish care of Terri?

I could bet you a steak dinner that the $10 million 'anonymous' offer was pure fabricated B.S.

It's like a minor-league ballplayer suddenly getting a hot-streak, and a major-league team coming up to the guy's agent and offering ONE million dollars... The agent says, I'm disgusted and offended!, ...why, just last week my client was offered TEN million dollars!... TRANSLATION: Felos and Schiavo were therefore saying ONE million isn't enough, BUT we WOULD consider 11 or 12 million.
