Terri Brother ..................Terri early on in a hospice .................. Michael has let his wife deteriate!
Compare the early Hospice Photo
At this time Terri was able to chew and swallow and was learning to use the pararall bars to walk again...as soon as the malpactice law suit was won Michael Schiavo remember his wife wanted to die...so he would move her from one location to another every time they thought she was ready to start rehab again!
Lets try to have the same page to fight the MISLEADING OUT THERE!
Wolfson states that Terri hasn't had a swallowing test in over 20 years, that it is feasible for Terri to have a current swallowing test, and that he sees value in her having both a swallowing test and swallowing therapy.
Judge Greer wouldn't allow a swallowing test or swallowing therapy.
Go Get 'em Rush!!
I am not the greatest RL fan
TOO BAD. READ MY TAGLINE.
Seminar caller. Quite obvious but I love Rush pointing it out for all to hear.
This last one was quite good. He may leave the Republican Party (gasp!)
Rush leaves for a commercial break with the following "we'll be right back with more upset conservative former Bush supporters"
Let's hope any one of those people that are making these decisions to murder Terri are never in her predicament....
I love it. The Schiavo brother's say,"Well, have you EVER seen Terri? I have. There's NOTHIN' there."
And then Michael limits Terri's visiters.
Rush nails it! "Frist made no diagnosis in absentia."
Thanks for the clarification. I've read so much stuff today it's hard to keep it all straight. But I also think this confirms my suspicions of statements from others (not you) that Mrs. Schiavo was eating orally and walking up until 7 years after her accident or whatever it was.
What's happening to our culture?
It's becoming a socialist country.
Oh good, Rush corrected the statement (which is a current talking point) that Frist made a diagnosis based on seeing a video tape of Teri. Bob Schieffer was spouting the same thing on Imus this morning.
Is it true that she actually was walking? This is the first I've ever heard of that.
I don't know Michael Schiavo from Adam, I'm not prepared to judge him. But the bottom line is, that in the absence of a living will, we should err on the side of life. Maybe today Terri can't be cured, what about 5-10 years from now. If she can still breathe on her own, and her parents are willing to pay for her care, what's the problem? Some say that she won't suffer due to starvation. If that's the case, then she is isn't suffering now with the feeding tube, right? Again, why the rush to kill her?
LOL
Caller: "I may leave the Republican Party. Oh, and Bush sucks!"
20 years? Interesting, being her accident happened 15 years ago.
Hildy, that's the question I've been asking. So far the only person I've found who said this is the..umm controversial Dr. Hammesfahr.
Where did you hear/read that?
Rush is saying what needs to be said.
I suppose this is going to bother some. Truth does. But it really does come back to WHY people are PASSIONATELY involved in demanding this woman die NOW.
If this is a question about legalities, that can be argued and decided in a future time. If she is more or less dead in spirit and body, it won't matter if her body is fed awhile longer until this issue is exhausted. But people are demanding it happen NOW. Why? Why do people that don't know this woman have such a stake in making sure she dies NOW when a delay will not stop their chances to appeal this on legal merit?
Deny it all you want, but the pro-Death crowd is making the decision she should die. The pro-Death crowd alone will bear responsibility for this woman's death, as you sought to inject the decision she die. Unbelieveable we've come to a point where so many consider themselves to be the final authority on life. To my thinking God alone has the right to take or give life. Not a Judge, not a husband, and not the pro-Death crowd.
What year is that middle picture from???? SHe doesn't look sick there at all.......
You and I are in complete agreement, and this is the point I was trying to make earlier. Let's argue from this (or a similar) position and not resort to accusations against Mr. Schiavo, etc.
