Thanks for the clarification. I've read so much stuff today it's hard to keep it all straight. But I also think this confirms my suspicions of statements from others (not you) that Mrs. Schiavo was eating orally and walking up until 7 years after her accident or whatever it was.
If she couldn't swallow in 1993, I don't know that it's impossible she was swallowing a few years later than that, and apparently Wolfson thought it might be possible. He said it was feasible and of value to administer a current swallowing test. But that wasn't done.
It's also interesting that not much is said to disparage the medical testimony that Judge Greer decided was credible. Such as Dr. Ronald Cranford who is on the board of the Euthanasia Society of America and has made some outrageous comments.
