This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they dont want to be known as the party that killed Terri.
This is American history happening before your eyes.
Back to the issue at hand, seems that only CNN has live Terri coverage now, inclusing when President Bush signs the bill and when the court gets (and hopefully grants) the motion. Fox and MSNBC are showing re-runs.
Warning: CNN has Frank on right now.
Night MNJohnnie.
CNN: Barney Frank just said he feels his [fathers] pain.
shades of clinton.
barney frank is saying, the courts the courts the courts.
What else can we expect from a man whose lifestyle is seeking imposed acceptance via the courts.
Truly the Democrat (gay) party.
I don't know. He sure sounded positive though. Barny Franks squealing now...have to mute!
They can start an IV in an ambulance. As soon as a paramedic takes charge of her in fact.
yeah :(
Can guarantee there is an emergency room open in the Tampa/St. Pete area 24/7 as they are bound to have to highest level traumu unit someone where in that area.
Wonderful!....:)
Fox News Alert: President Bush has signed the bill.
The main thing now is that Terry needs to be represented in the federal court by legal counsel, which has never happened for her and that is against her 14th amendment rights. The best thing that can happen is that she gets to present HER case, and that is what is needed....that will get rid of Mikey Loser and will also give the parents a chance to fully investigate what happened to Terri.
Hey loudmouth, if you feel the need to show off or bitch or whatever your agenda is, start a thread in the Backroom or (preferably) just stfu!
Btw, I was at the USSC when they "gave" W our win.
What the hell were you doin' that day ?
I doubt Judge Bork ever proposed such an amendment. It would be 180 degrees contrary to our constitutional republic.
Without reviewing all the factors that go into whether a judge issues a temporary restraining order, one is the likelihood of success on the merits. In other words, the judge needs to find that the Schiavos are likely to win in the end. A federal judge could decide the Florida decisions appear correct and that the Schiavos are unlikely to win.
You would think that any judge would restore food while he/she looks this over because the harm to Terri in the meantime can be death, but it depends on the judge.
I understand your point. I was having fun with it. Did you notice my screen name? Do you know who Betsy Ross was?
God, he's pathetic......STFU Barney!
Bush has signed the bill!!!!
Or, a sex changer?
President has signed bill!!!
Yep. Signed =)
