Didn't make any difference to the Florida Supreme Court which will be precedent when the federal court applies Florida law to the case. That's why Dims wanted the Senate version, because it was basically the same as the Florida law that pertained only to Terri.

We are now in federal court.

The same fed that supported the 1996 doma at the trial court level.

Upheld the fl ban on homosexual adopting children.

The federal courts that contradicted the fL SC in 2000.


Federal courts pride themselves on not being the bordello of state trial courts.
