This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they don’t want to be known as the party that killed Terri.
This is American history happening before your eyes.
I wonder what he'd be saying if Florida was trying to execute a convicted heinous murderer by witholding food and water!

Light always trumps darkness - and it helps that our great and honorable POTUS was seen on all stations flying all the way back to DC JUST for Terri!
This has the evil ones between a rock and a hard place...and I do believe they got a huge rush of emails today after they blocked the first vote.
They block the vote, Bush flies in, they hear from America - they cave...
but I believe they'll still do everything they can, under the table, to see that Terri dies.
If Terri is saved and gotten out from under the man who wants to murder her - and gets the treatment she needs - wouldn't it be wonderful to see her recover enough to say - "He did it!"
I believe our guys - Jeb, "W", Frist, DeLay, etc - are bound and determined to see her get her day in court, to get the fact that her husband-in-name-only is guilty of criminal neglect - and DeLay emphasized that he had gone on with his life and living with a woman by whom he has two children - and get his guardianship revoked and transferred to her family.
My fear is that the he is so afraid of her ever talking that she may have 'sudden' turn for the worse, and not make it. He demanded this morning that her family not be allowed in and that he be left ALONE with her for some time....simple to slip her something hard to trace...I fear for her.
(He was proud of the fact that he pulled the plug on both his own mother and father! Wonder if he inherited?)
Some say she collapsed from an imbalance in her potasium..some say she might have been strangled. Bone scans found years later indicated the strangling but it wasn't investigated at the time

Same here. I keep wondering where Tom Coburn is. He should be speaking up long and loud on this. Maybe he did in the Senate.
WRT the witch, I hope all those elderly people in Florida realize the jeopardy they're in with nutcases like this representing them.
