Good luck getting anyone to obey a legislative subpoena again. Every lawyer in this country worth his or her fee will advise the client to ignore such a thing in the future.
I agree it is very upsetting that one louzy State Judge can order this done but I have faith in Cong Sensenbrenner, Tom DeLay and others -- they will do all they can to make sure she lives. My wish is that she be removed from Florida and receive treatment in a rehabilitation hospital since it is obvious she has been neglected over the years. Why not give her a chance before sentencing her to death? People can now walk that couldn't ten years ago -- why would it hurt to try? What is her husband wanting to hide pops in my mind?
Listen to him accuse the US Congress of "thugery".

Exactly and why Congress has to act -- they cannot afford to let this Judge ignore their Congressional subpoena IMHO.

He went from his initial statements in a quiet tone then went shrill and condemned the Congress.
Interesting point. And if a single nurse said she talked, why should I conclude she's brain dead? "I never heard her talk..." How many others might say that means nothing, right? Zip. You never heard me talk. I say I can. One person tells you. If anyone says I should die, that the guy typing this is not me, what would you tell them?
