Good luck getting anyone to obey a legislative subpoena again. Every lawyer in this country worth his or her fee will advise the client to ignore such a thing in the future.
Exactly and why Congress has to act -- they cannot afford to let this Judge ignore their Congressional subpoena IMHO.
