Can I be Zotted Under the Patriot Act for Criticizing Bush on the Internet? We've got the modcam on
Posted on 03/15/2005 4:51:28 PM PST by peeseispossible
I post on several forums and avidly and sternly denounce the war crimes of the Bush Administration. I received an email yesterday saying I better watch it as the Bush Administration is arresting those critical of them under the Patriot Act stating they are supporting terrorism. I was told I could be detained indefinitely without arraignment.
Is this true? What has this country come to.

Me too. But Sam gets here as quick as he can. Troll: Yes. They are watching you now. They had you as soon as you posted. They are even now preparing the lemon jello and the dental floss and the small bamboo baskets and the duck press and the plastic bags and the corkscrews. You will be put into a cell with Ward Churchill and a guy named Wally. You will find everything unpredictable until you learn to submit.

They're coming to take me away, HA HA
They're coming to take me away, HO HO HEE HEE HA HA
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see
Those nice, young men
In their clean, white coats
And they're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

Don't worry, I've asked the same questions on the Patriot Act many times, concerning the ability to iterate exactly what liberties that a person has had taken away or infringed upon.
I never get an answer, only a re-iteration of the fact that I must be a sheep and am a fool for letting my liberties be taken away.
Again, I ask what liberties? They don't ever seem to see the circular flaws in their logic.
My favorite is when they do make an attempt, and blurt out something about President Bush looking over list of every library book you check out. What I also don't understand is, why anyone assumes that they should expect any privacy at a public library...

If these powers were unconstitutional for the last twenty years, are you just now noticing it. Not at all. I've noticed it for many years.
By the way which article or articles of the Constitution have been violated
The 10th Amendment is quite clear where the power you desire lies. Just because members of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branch have assumed, rather invented, these powers over the past 140 years does not mean the intent of the Framers was to allow these excessive powers from the national government

OK, how did you avoid the round-up?
Were you in one of the orphanages we closed in the middle of the freezing cold winter's night?
Cause, you know, Rove knows all of you and where you are. That GPS Lojack we installed always trasmits, ya know.
