Received word this morning that my brother, Orvil L. Robinson, of San Antonio, Texas died yesterday afternoon after fighting a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (Hodges) Robinson, two children, Cheryl Moran of San Antonio and Jeff Robinson of California, and several grandchildren. He was retired from the U.S. Weather Bureau. He was a US Navy veteran. Served as a meteorologist aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge in the '50s. He was a good and decent, loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
I am so sorry.
I met him that time at Mamacita's in San Antonio, and I had a very good impression from that brief meeting. I enjoyed his sense of humor.
My condolences for you & the family.
My sincere condolences on the loss of your brother. May the Lord comfort and bless you and Orvil's family.
We Pray that the Sweet Comfort of Your Spirit will Abide with All who Loved him, Granting them Peace until that Time they See him Again.
Surround Orvil's Family with Your Love, Great King, Pouring Out Upon them Your Mercy and Compassionate Grace. We Love You, Papa-Father, and Thank You for All that You will Do, as we Pray in Thy Name and for Thy Glory, amen.
I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.
May the One Above comfort you and your family and guide your loved one's path to eternity.
So very sorry to hear this Jim. Prayers for you and the family.
The only comfort for bereavement I know is found in the presence of the Lord. May that Comforter sustain the Robinson family and give them an upward view of an earthly loss.
Jim, I am sorry to hear the news. It is hard to lose a brother. I'm sure you are thankful for the many years and experiences you had together, and also thankful that he is no longer in pain or distress.
We are all on this journey called life. Thanks to Jesus Christ, death has no sting, and the grave has no victory.
He is our hope and our Rock, a present help in the day of trouble.
The separation is but only for a short time. The reunion lasts forever.
God grant you peace and strength. The weather is fair on the other side, and your brother is still in awe at the wonder of it all.
Deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your brother. Based on what you wrote of him, he seemed a very decent and honorable man. Condolences.
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss and join with everyone here lifting all the family up to God for His blessing, peace and guidance!
Very sorry to hear this. You and the family will be in my prayers.
Prayers for you as well as your sister in law. May the Lord walk with all of you during this difficult time.
