This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

Yeah, and what about nurses who have to manipulate heavy bodies all the time? Should there not be female nurses? I wonder how many lives are lost due to the precious moments wasted getting lard butt from the bed to the guerney.

Exactly. After 25 years of working with people in depositions and courts, I'm sick of them all.
And let's face it, if I did get on a jury feeling the way I felt, who here who knows me doesn't think I couldn't have swayed the jury........LOL.
I have the best excuse to avoid "participating in the system" . . . I've had a couple of lawyers swear that they would never allow me to stay on a jury.
Because I am extremely rational and clear-thinking -- and this was the reason why they wouldn't want me on a jury -- it's clear to me that the entire system is really just a farce.

This reporter states the assistante DA said the perp got the gun and made the bailiff handcuff some people and then shot the judge.
I actually feel sick as I type this, picturing this.

Reporter says the first car was a DA employee's car.
This reporter giving this story was in another courtroom for another trial. He says the jury for that trial was called in and given an explanation of what had happened and then excused for the weekend. In the courthouse hardened lawyers and employees were crying and very upset, but also kept professional and in control.
And the Land Submarines should be swimming the earth beneath him, too.

Personally I think the guy just snapped.
I have jury duty in two weeks. They won't take me...my husband worked for State Police in an administrative capacity for years and nearly everyone they arrest is guilty in my eyes.
