This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

The reporter said that he interviewed a DA for this information. Somewhat of a surprise that he would shoot the court reporter but not the ADA.

It's always like this; we've never had ANY thread about an ongoing live event that wasn't just like this.
And it's good to see you.

No. He held hostage the whole courtroom for 2 hours before he escaped.

Can someone please tell me where this car that is rumored to have been found was actually found? Thanks in advance.

I stand by my statement that if the judge is a liberal leftist demoncRAT-prone activist judge that makes law instead of interpreting, then good riddance. If not my sympathies to the family. It's just as sick a statement the second time as it was the first.

Is that about the jist of it here? Might be four dead. Also, seems other comments may deemed inappropraite.
May be difficult to seat a jury to determine that though.

Wasn't shackled because the bleeding heart defense lawyers didn't like the "negative image" it broadcast to the jury. The price we pay for political correctness and worrying more about the perps rights than the victims has once again reared it's ugly head. Yes, this is what I have been saying for a while on here. This situation dramatically defines the wrong of Political Correctness in the courtrooms. This horrific scene is unfolding all because the accused was allowed to walk in, after having been found to have a "shank" in his shoes last week in court, and given all the rights of any ordinary person coming to trial who did not have a history of crime or hostility. Amazing.

Problem is, others have paid too for the mistake. Those given the responsibility to protect should be prepared to do so. It's unfortunate that anyone other than the perp is dead, but when we sort this all out we will see a LOT of really bad security work. Fatal.

Ok, I'm kinda late to this party, but as far as I can tell, 3 people are dead, the psycho is still on the loose, and an inappropraite comment was made on the thread. Is that about the jist of it here?
Yep. That's about it. A typical live thread.
(Except, although it's Friday, it's still early and no one has started drinking yet).

Sorry, no. It's not okay to wish a judge dead because he's a liberal. Taken off the bench yes, not gunned down in cold blood. Sickening.

You left out all of my pithy comments. How could I forget? :)
