This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
I am a questionable person? I was at Masquerade at a "Jewbilee" party on Xmas Eve in 1994. (An annual event for young, single Jews on Xmas Eve). I wasn't doing drugs. It just happens that Ponce is scary as hell and a gang of 3 (2 girls and one guy) were waiting beside the club in hopes of stealing my friend's Dodge Stealth for an initiation.
And, by the way, Masquerade was one of the best venues to see many excellent bands. I was a regular there for well over a decade.
Hostage is free but perp is still loose? Sounds like the SOB got away for now. Pursuit is back to cold.

That would be about right, with the siting being around 1140 according to the scanner. Unfortunately, it is probably the wrong vehicle as it appears that he may no longer be in that car.

WAGA reporter says the perp was on bail and was free to come and go daily from the proceedings.
Wasn't shackled because the bleeding heart defense lawyers didn't like the "negative image" it broadcast to the jury.
The price we pay for political correctness and worrying more about the perps rights than the victims has once again reared it's ugly head.
IMHO this guy had better eat a bullet from that cops gun before they get to him. His life isn't worth spit. He just pee-peed away any chance he ever had of seeing life outside of a prision ever again.
