Hobit Dwarf Caveman

Posted on 03/04/2005 4:42:55 AM PST by discipler

Professor Richard Roberts points to an artist impression of a hobbit-like dwarf, the astonishing discovery that could rewrite the history of human evolution, in Sydney, Australia, Oct. 28, 2004. A 3-foot-tall adult female skeleton found in a cave on a remote Indonesian island is believed 18,000 years old and smashes the long-cherished scientific belief that our species, Homo sapiens, systematically crowded out other upright-walking human cousins beginning 160,000 years ago.(AP Photo/Rob Griffith)

Wow! Using powerful scanning devices look at what the artist was able to illustrate! Look how wise and thoughtful the little fella appears! Wow, wow, and triple wow: impressive as any Globe story! This discovery COULD (they say could, but then, maybe not) rewrite evolution thought. I follow the news pretty closely and evolution theory is pretty flexible, able to withstand any and all data to the contrary. Wow! If there weren't little men on earth today who have features similar to this, I might be inclined to believe this load of Kaka! Wow!

You know, everytime I see one of those artists renditions of what the 'so-called' caveman or missing link supposedly looks like, which they somehow are miraculously able to create from their vast imaginations using probably a small fraction of fossils(an amazingly the depiction always looks like a monkey), It just reminds me how big a crock evolution is.

Scratched on the cave walls were the words: THE PLANE! THE PLANE!!

LOL - my thoughts exactly.

Cheers, CC :)

Which point? That facts don't change, or that I'm dumb. To quote Corporal Agarn; "Who says I'm dumb?"

Exactly, this is pseudo-knowledge that stands in the place of real knowledge. It deserves a place beside all of the evidence for extra-terrestrials, crop circles, Big Foot, and Nessie: our ally from the deep.

Speaking of crop circles, wasn't it hilarious and pointed for Mel Gibson to say in his movie on Aliens--as he surveyed the crop circle on his farm--that humans could not have done this (which of course humans did do just before they turns the cameras on). That Mel Gibson guy is sharp and wise to show the folly of the crop circle "experts."

Look, we can flip just one bit of coding in a small part of one gene and it's hair city all over again!

Now why did God leave that full body fur trick still in there?

From Creation-Evolution Headlines:

Any evolutionists thinking they have an “Aha!” case of a missing-link fossil to discredit creationists have a slippery object to try to hang onto. If brain size does not correlate with intelligence, then a century and a half of human-evolution storytelling goes down the drain. Fine measurements of skull capacity were a staple of human phylogenetic studies; some, like Paul Broca (now considered a racist), made a career out of it. It should have been obvious that even modern human “small people” like Tom Thumb could be smarter than local fatheads. And didn’t we learn that birds, with much smaller brains, outwit chimpanzees? (see 02/01/2005 entry).

If hobbitkind were degenerate modern humankind, there is no evolution story to tell. But if they evolved smart brains independently, in parallel with other upwardly-mobile hominids, then human evolution has been falsified twice (see 12/30/2004 entry). Take your pick, Darwin Party. If indeed “this goes to the heart of our understanding of human evolution,” it whacks it with a sharp stone tool.

You apparently have never visited a carnival sideshow and seen the "Wolf Man" have you?

These folks are not just hirsute, they are furry! A minor shift here or there, whether caused by disease or chemistry, can turn your bald body into a full pelt situation.

yeah, I've seen hairy people before, my son is hairy and when he's older he will probably look as if he has a lion's mane down his back, but my point is that he's human, always will be and his descendants will be, just like our ancestors were and not some if I may quote the great Charlton Heston.."... dirty ape."

Ooh, Very nice comment. Evolutionist have more faith than doubting Thomas--too bad their god couldn't care less.
