Are you as fed up as I am over the bad decisions being handed down by the SCOTUS and throughout the judiciary? Are you tired of judicial activism? Are you tired of being ruled by the men in black robes? Is it time to remind the SCOTUS that We The People ARE the final arbiters of law and justice in this land?
Are you fed up with the weak-kneed Republican Senate? Are you ready to drop the nuclear option on the obstructionist Democrats? Are you fed up with Specter and the RINOs?
Is it time for us to rise up and march on Washington again? How many of you are willing to join me in another march to D.C. to straighten out these yahoos and remind them of who's in charge in this republic?
If they can do it in Lebanon, we can do it here!!
Hey, I don't want my kids to HAVE to speak French just to get a long. I also don't want them to be afraid to show their respect and worship to God.
This "politically correct, don't offend anyone, accept GLOBAL policy crap" needs to stop.
By late April it will be too late. People are upset NOW, and with their short, sound-bite memories they will have forgotten this latest ruling by then.
Also, you will get more participation if you start a petition drive directed toward Congress. More people can sign a petition than can travel to D.C.
If you are in Canada, are you aware our Terminator is proposing four initiatives here for a special election in November that would change things quite a bit?
The Teacher's unions (Abolish Tenure) and the legislature (Reapportionment by independent body) are most ticked off about two of them...
THE GOVERNOR IS IN ACTION!
Good for your congressman---I hope he pushes to get it voted on before many more lousy decisions are made---
I can't believe the court wouldn't even listen to the case of Norma McCorvey's Roe v Wade, but they heard this AND ruled the wrong way--
I too would love to go---I just want to make sure that we would hit the Senate buildings as well---the Senators have got to get their collective heads out of their a**es!!!
>According to Mark Levin, Congress has the authority to regulate the COURTS - why aren't they ..?? <
Because they are a bunch of pansies. We can't even get Repubs to fight the filibuster or at the very least make the Dems ACTUALLY filibuster.
Not much chance of them going up against the SC.
We need to start hitting Congress in the pocketbook and at the voting booth.
Demonstrations might at least call attention to the "restless natives".
If I have enough notice and can afford the trip, I'll be there!
FR post on Marbury v. Madison -- rebuttal to Rush's take on it:

Frist doesn't use my words "exactly" but reading through the entire article that was my summary. The Senators are stating WE aren't onboard yet, so they can't do their job.
First, I refute that nosense. the majority, except senior citizens that aren't even affected, are onboard with reform. Second, it is their job to lead, not take polls. As the President does. Third, the people vocal against it are Dem activists! After the election you would ... hope these people would understand the person that screams the loudest doesn't necessarily represent the majority. In this case the people are Dems that don't even vote for these Senators. And the Reps are caving to them? People that hate them and will never defend them? Agaianst those that elected them and run the grassroots of their successful campaigns?
As I said, this was my tipping point. I only have so much patience and they have depleted it. They either do the job we elected them to do, or we'll vote them out in the primaries. I'm not going to elect people that will not even FIGHT for what is right.
For an interesting take on Marbury v. Madison, see David E. Engdahl, "John Marshall's 'Jeffersonian' Concept of Judicial Review," 42 DUKE LAW JOURNAL 279 (1992).
Got a current proposal of that bill? Post it here if you do, thanks.
"our black robe wearing, unaccountable and unelected legislators."
Perhaps we need to make the Official FReeper PJs BLACK as we are the ultimate authority in the U.S., UNDER GOD.
And the judges CAN be stripped of their robes, we just gotta focus our outrage and energy on what's important....THIS!
Under the list of thread topics, what are "Wet He-People"?
Lets march like a bunch of out of work hippies!!!!
Well .. I agree with Rush's analysis. He said that the repubs are isolated and insolated. The repubs NEED TO HEAR FROM US. Rush is convinced the repubs don't really believe the public is behind them .. rooting for them.
Well .. I believe it's also because getting invited to the right parties and the weekends in the Hamptons has become more of a priority than UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION.
I intend to tell them that - every other day or so - say message being sent over and over - it will get their attention. I think everybody should do that - until they DO SOMETHING BESIDES SAY THEY CAN'T GET IT DONE.
Glad to see it's in there, so it IS congress who needs to hold them to account.
THAT is HEAVY! Go Scalia!
