I wish you were correct. However, Israel is too engaged with creating a peace with the PA and any other diversion at this particular time would require a complete readjustment by Sharon.

The USA is too engaged in Iraq, Afghanistan and Iranian subterfuge to be able to take on Syria.

"the outcry against an event like Tiannamin square in this day and age would be far to risky" surely you jest.

If you are correct, then Bush belongs on Mt. Rushmore. I'm being extremely skeptical about this until there's some follow-through from Syria, but I am genuinely hopeful for what's going on there.

Thank you for proving my point; it comes naturally; I pity the people in your real life.

We are rejoicing here for the tiny piece of earth reclaimed today by the brave people in Lebanon.

And it is contagious....

On another thread, they say there are 200,000 people protesting. How fantastic is that......

I have a really bad habit of taking the bait with them because I can't stand misinformation AND comfort being put forth on this forum as fact.

I should seek some kind of treatment for it, I suppose. :-)

You need to not take everything so personally. Let's keep track of how this unfolds. I'll be the first to eat crow if this is truly the end of Syria's rule in Lebanon.
