I am disgusted with Fox. I suspect they have no one on the scene over there, hence no live coverage. But they have full blown wall to wall coverage with a ton of reporters, equipment, expense accounts etc. and by gum they're going to give us 24/7 Michael Jackson.
The only thing that will rain on this parade is an early plea-bargain.

I highly doubt that. The people there are smart. Sure, look how smart they were the last 30 years.

FWIW, my take...you have Hezbollah entrenched in southern Lebanon, virtually a political entity....thousands of terrorists and they have huge supplies of those missiles that can reach Israeli settlements in the north..Now, if Syria pulls its troops out..and the Lebanese form a government, where do these Hezbollah go? VERY GOOD QUESTION!
World on the EDGE>>>>>>Of course Iran does NOT quite yet have its coveted weapon...

Only you would characterize democracy as mob rule. Do you work at being ignorant, Howlin?
"A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine."
Thomas Jefferson quotes (US 3rd US President (1801-09). Author of the Declaration of Independence. 1762-1826)

Do you work at being ignorant, Howlin? Do you work at being an A$$hole, or, as I suspect, does it just come naturally?

It's called being realistic. Last I checked, Iran is this|close to having nuclear weapons to provide cover for Damascus.
And when was the last time a Middle Eastern government just up-and-quit "for the good of the country."
Good God, man, read your history. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. People go down harder getting kicked off their homeowners associations.

The left was right, the Iraq war led to an EXPLOSION of the Arab street. Good one, and stolen! I now have my subject line when I email these Lebanon pics to my leftist friends: "Bush Policy Inflames Arab Street!"

Why is it that when there is the LEAST little bit of good news, the likes of you turn up to pi$$ on everybody's parade?
Go drone on somewhere else; start a thread about doom and gloom.
We are rejoicing here for the tiny piece of earth reclaimed today by the brave people in Lebanon.
