Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?

Godspeed on your journey for life!
LOL!!!! Sorry about that!
I didn't want to post this just yet, but....
You saw Passion of the Christ, no doubt? Many of the details of the script were taken from the writings of Ann Emmerich, a German nun who saw, as it is said, many visions of the suffering of Jesus on the cross. She was the first (I think) to experience actual bleeding from her hands, feet and side during the latter part of her life. What does that have to do with Terri???
Ann Emmerich lived for ten years on NOTHING but the Eucharist. See above scripture! Google "Ann Emmerich!" (hope I spelled her name right).
Wake up!! Your cursor stuck to the Post button :-)
early 40's --yep it is hard to believe
We recognize, O God, that we are at a turning point in our spiritual and national life ... we have not reverenced the life of the unborn, and now we do not reverence the life of the afflicted. Our hearts are broken before You, O God ... we have awakened to the reality of what we do. We have not allowed 40 million of our citizens to be born and raised ... we have not allowed this number to be productive citizens ... we have not allowed any of these to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord. We have stilled the voices of the finest evangelists .. the finest intellects .. the finest scientists .. the finest Moms and Dads. We do not know what we have lost because of our sins, but we pray, O God, that You do not lay this charge against this innocent woman. May she be redeemed from the pit of hell in which she is confined, for the Sake of Your Son. We repent of our national sins ... cleanse us of both corporate and personal sins, that we might have free access to petition You for the life of this beloved woman. Keep us from a mindset that the inconvenient or the feeble or the disabled or the elderly are as disposable goods ... to be used and then thrown away. Bring us back to reverence, O God, for You and Your Word and Your Absolute Authority that in Your hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.
Look with favor, we pray, upon the events of this weekend. Empower those who stand for Terri with words that echo Your heart ... may they be heard in the home and on the street ... grace each word with fire from heaven, that unknowing hearts will be pierced with the truth. Draw thousands to Your side, O Lord, though You need not one to accomplish Your purposes. We thank You that You have allowed us to see the evil that is before us, and that You have given us a heart to respond. Grant success, Merciful Father, that Terri might live ... that we might live ... that we as a nation might live ... that we might yet return to One Nation, Under God. May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
Amen! How beautiful a prayer!
---May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
After he made his famous comment the day after President Bush won reelection, I actually went out and FReeped Arlen Spector, personally. (He was so intimidated that he didn't show up.) I wrote emails, slept, and ate, at my computer. I called the Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. I went all out, and so did a multitude of other FReepers and citizens.
Arlen SWORE he'd be a good boy if he was granted the Chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee. And Frist was as linguini spined as ever. Santorum backed Arlen, too, and I am SO DONE with him.
AND NOW LOOK AT ARLEN AND THE CR@P HE'S PULLING!
I SAY: "JEB, GET THE SWAT TEAM READY!!!"
That's from the Old Testement. In the desert during the exodus from Egypt, God told Moses to place a serpent on top of a pole. Whenever someone became ill, they only had to look up at the serpent (snake), and they were healed. It's origins were holy.
Jets' Sonic Boom Rattles Bay Area
Published: Mar 12, 2005
TAMPA - A sonic boom from a pair of jets heading to MacDill Air Force Base rattled windows and nerves in the Bay area Friday.
About 7:45 p.m., the rumble of jets breaking the sound barrier lit up law enforcement switchboards from Pasco through Pinellas, Hillsborough and Manatee counties as residents called to report tremors. There were no reports of damage.
The sonic boom, caused when aircraft break the sound barrier of 750 mph, was powerful enough to register on a monitor that detects earthquake activity.
The shock waves did not cause an earthquake, said Madeleine Zirbes, a U.S. Geological Survey seismologist.
The pair of F-18 jets were flying from Eglin Air Force Base in Pensacola, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Lawmakers would kill right to die with dignity
MORGAN
By LUCY MORGAN, Times Tallahassee Bureau Chief
Published March 12, 2005
Our Legislature has stopped passing laws to keep Terri Schiavo alive and turned to meddling in a right the rest of us have.
The right to die with dignity did not come easily. Republican Sen. Jim King of Jacksonville fought for several years to give Floridians the right after watching his parents die.
Now lawmakers want to upend that law and replace it with a law that presumes anyone without a living will wants to have a feeding tube installed to prolong life. Current law lets a health care surrogate, who is often a family member, make that decision.
Count me out. We've had a little experience with this around our house. I would not want my life prolonged by a feeding tube if I were incapacitated with no hope of recovery.
Some of you may recall the articles I wrote about my own mother's fight to die with dignity.
She had a living will that specifically forbade a feeding tube or heroic efforts to prolong her life. But that didn't stop nursing home officials from trying to do it anyway.
A stroke victim who had been bedridden for several years without recognizing family members, Mother could not have been clearer about what she wanted. She quit eating and spat the food back at anyone who tried to feed her. I don't know how much mind she had left, but I do know how many times she told me and everyone else who would listen that we had to do something to keep her from getting that way.
She always emphasized it when we visited an old friend who stared vacantly into space each time we visited her nursing home.
"Don't let me live like that," she would say as she stopped in Willery Jackson's doorway. Even with a living will we had trouble stopping it.
We finally hired a lawyer to enforce her wishes and keep caregivers from adding a feeding tube to her body.
Unfortunately, living wills get lost as family members age and move, and the most vociferous opponent of feeding tubes could well wind up with no piece of paper to explain those wishes.
Fortunately, my sister and I agreed. When family members disagree, we get situations like the Terri Schiavo case.
After Mother died, the bills indicated that the nursing home collected more than $30,000 from Medicare and Medicaid for giving her occupational, physical and speech therapy in those final two months.
Pardon our suspicious minds, but it occurred to us that she had become a cash crop, tended like a vegetable by a health care industry that was making a lot of money by keeping her just barely alive.
She was 91, could not speak or recognize anyone and was besieged by skin rashes and blisters that merely added to her misery.
Having a living will helped us deal with the situation, but I hate to think of how long she might have lingered in misery if the proposals now being considered in our Legislature were in place, or if she lacked family members dedicated to fighting for her wishes.
Allowing the state to step in and make decisions for us in end-of-life situations would strip family members of any control over the destiny of a hopelessly ill parent.
In rushing to save the life of Terri Schiavo, lawmakers imperil the rights of families to decide these things.
The stories about my own fight to enforce Mother's instructions generated a lot of mail, much of it from family members who faced very similar situations.
Some of it came from Floridians who had given up their lives to care for elderly parents at home so they, not a nursing home, could control those final decisions.
Some mail came from families appalled at the money being spent on health care that could not have benefited anyone. One letter came from the daughter of a hospitalized woman who was comatose and could not speak. Medicare was paying a psychiatrist to regularly visit because she was depressed.
Will those Floridians who want control over how their own lives end sit silently by and watch state government strip them of those rights?
Whatever the Legislature does, all of this should be reason enough for everyone to rush out and make a living will.
Don't leave this decision up to government.

More spin from the MSM. What the new law would provide for is that you can't remove food and water from an incapacitated person without informed consent, ie. a living will. It says nothing about having to put the feeding tube in.
Doesn't matter! He's God, He's in control, and He'll do what he wants. Here's more:
"...whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst;" John 4:14
"I have food to eat that you do not know about." - John 4:32
"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" John 7:38
I have participated in several endeavors to defeat Arlen over the years, to NO avail.
"Will those Floridians who want control over how their own lives end sit silently by and watch state government strip them of those rights?"
NO, YOU MORON! If "control over how your own lives end" is what you want for yourself, sign whatever papers you want, have it notorized or whatever, and if you're worried about losing it, put it in a bank vault and give copies to your doctors! Sheesh! C'mon, it's not that hard, folks.
I think everyone got that point! The nerve of some people calling ME repetitive, lol!
I thought that the ruling was that the Schindlers were not parties to the Terri's Law case only. Otherwise, I thought they were parties to "the case," "the case" being Schiavo v. Schindler.
Goodnight prayer for Terri!
