TERRI SCHIAVO MARCH 2005 DAILIES Fla's Til of the Hun Sets March Date to Starve Terri
Terri's Fight, The Empire Journal, World Net Daily, Life News ^ | February 28, 2005 | floriduh voter

Terri's Freepers,

Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

What can we do?

1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI

2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.

3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.

6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.

7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.

8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.

9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Terri's family is grateful to you and all of your prayers are being heard by the Giver of Life.

This is Terri's Fight and the battle is enjoined. JOIN US TO SAVE TERRI FROM FORCES THAT HAVE BUT ONE GOAL THAT IS AGAINST EVERYTHING AMERICAN.

I know! It's gutwrenching to think of. The Nazis were capable of what has to be, so far, the most horrible crimes of civilization.

Cardinal Keeler Issues Statement on Fla. Schiavo Case; Stresses Church Teaching on Feeding, Hydration

3/9/2005 5:04:00 PM

To: National Desk, Political Reporter

Contact: Sr. Mary Ann Walsh, 202-541-3200 (office), or 301-587-4762 (after hours), of U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops

WASHINGTON, March 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Cardinal William H. Keeler, chairman of the U.S. Bishops' Committee for Pro-Life Activities, stressed Church teaching on nutrition and hydration in a March 9 statement.

His remarks followed a statement by the bishops of Florida who recently spoke out regarding the case of Terri Schiavo, a woman at the heart of a controversy over withholding nutrition and hydration from people with cognitive disabilities.

Cardinal Keeler's statement follows:

"The case of Terri Schindler Schiavo in Florida has focused national attention on the plight of patients diagnosed as being in a 'vegetative' state.

"In a speech last year, Pope John Paul II affirmed the inherent dignity of every human being: 'Even our brothers and sisters who find themselves in the clinical condition of a 'vegetative state',' he said, 'retain their human dignity in all its fullness.' They are not 'vegetables,' but fellow human beings in need of our love and care.

"The Holy Father added that these patients have 'the right to basic health care (nutrition, hydration, cleanliness, warmth, etc.).' He reminded us that providing water and food, even by artificial means, is 'morally obligatory, insofar as and until it is seen to have attained its proper finality, which in the present case consists in providing nourishment to the patient and alleviation of his suffering.'

"There are times when even such basic means may cease to be morally obligatory, because they have become useless or unduly burdensome for the patient. Deliberately to remove them in order to hasten a patient's death, however, would be a form of euthanasia, which is gravely wrong.

"I applaud the February 28 statement of the Catholic bishops of Florida, applying this teaching to the Schiavo case. The bishops reiterated their plea that Terri Schindler Schiavo 'continue to receive all treatments and care that will be of benefit to her.' I join with them in praying that those who hold power over Terri Schindler Schiavo's fate will see that she 'continues to receive nourishment, comfort and loving care."

The Race to Save Terri Schiavo
By David Brody
Congressional Correspondent

http://www.the700club.org/cbnnews/news/050309b.asp

CBN.com – (CBN News) - Two Florida lawmakers have introduced a bill that could save the life of Terri Schiavo.

Schiavo suffered a severe brain injury in 1990. A court has ordered her feeding tubes to be removed on March 18th.

Terri Schiavo's life may end in just a few weeks. If doctors do indeed pull her feeding tubes, as a court has ordered, then it will be just a matter of days after that before she will die. She will basically starve to death. It may take an act of Congress to save her, literally.

Rep. Dave Weldon (R-FL) is a congressman and a doctor, too. He is convinced that Schiavo is not in a vegetative state, as the media is reporting.

Rep. Weldon said, "I took care of a lot patients like this. She is brain-damaged. She is not in a vegetative state."

So in trying to save Schiavo, Rep. Weldon has come up with a bill that allows her, and others like her, the right to a lawyer when there is a family disagreement. He is introducing it in the House, and Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) is introducing it in the Senate.

The bill's guarantee to a lawyer is a due process right guaranteed under the Constitution. Rep. Weldon says death row inmates have these rights, so why not Schiavo? Then, with a lawyer in hand, Terri would get another hearing and a chance at a court reversal.

Rep. Weldon said, "That's my goal. My hope is that it will be taken to federal court with her own attorney and a complete review of the facts, and then a determination will be made that she's not in a vegetative state."

On Capitol Hill, Schiavo's brother and sister, Bobby and Suzanne, have come here to push for Rep. Weldon's bill. The family has tried their best to lobby Democrats and Republicans.

Terri’s brother, Bobby Schindler, said, "We’re going around telling them that Terri is not in a coma - she interacts. She's very responsive, and she can be helped. And when we tell these things to even the senators, they look at you, and they were unaware of Terri's condition."

So as it stands now, leaders in both the Senate and House may try to rush this bill through, though there are no guarantees.

For your Terri ping list, OfF, regarding Floriduh Voter, missing in action. Here's why:

>>>>Her computer crashed and she has a bad flu. She's had the flu since last Saturday. She doesn't know what's wrong with her computer. She asked for prayers.<<<<

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that we can gather around FV in her time of need ... may Your healing hand rest mightily upon the most ardent of Terri's Team ... restore her to health quickly, O God, for she is needed. Take from her all the symptoms of the flu and replace them with renewed energy and zeal. May she rest in the comfort of healing, and in the prayers of her friends. Bring the knowledge that is needed to restore her computer, for it is a most effective ministry for this mother's child. Look with favor upon her, O God ... may she feel the warmth and love of those who miss her so. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

Well sounds like some good Catholics took their case to Rome, Rome has spoken and now, well, you know what flows downhill...

Seems to me that Bishop Lynch should issue another statement and remove the sentence in his last release where he says that "the problem here are that both sides are intractable."

Bishop Lynch also said that the decison on what shoul happen with Terri is 100% the husband's decision.

I'm glad to see these statements form Rome and form Cardinals, I'm sure that Felos has saved the Lynch statement to further his death march. Now at least Gibbs will have a few statements to trump with.

Who appoints the Attorney? Well I know if it was in Greers court that he would appoint George Felos to be Terri's attorney. That is how bad and low down he is.

I'm jsut on pins and needles waiting for some more in depth news about all the items in court today. So far all we heard is that Greer won't allow any additional testing done on terri to prove that she is or is not PVS.

Well, then the DCF MUST STEP IN AND PUT TERRI UNDER PROTECTIVE CUSTODY, right? They wouldn't leave an elderly frail person or a child in an abusive situation, would they? Greer has lost it. LOST IT!!!

I believe that Bishop Lynch is being blackmailed, tacitly or actually. I know I've posted that before, but I want to emphasize what I wrote to Bishop Lynch himself last week: we are not going to forget what a disgraceful quisling he has been through this crisis. His statement of Feb. 28 was disgraceful in its mendacity. I'll bet Rome has heard many complaints about Lynch.
