CLEARWATER, Fla. (Reuters) - The parents of a brain-damaged Florida woman at the center of a right-to-die battle said on Thursday they would ask a court to order new medical tests before she is allowed to die.
Robert Schindler, the father of Theresa "Terri" Schiavo, said the tests should be done because of a recent study that found patients with brain damage may be more aware of their surroundings than doctors previously thought.

Michael had hospice starve both of his parents for him. True, per Michael on Larry King Live last summer.

Amazing as well is that the state would hold the authority to order someone dead when their function is to protect the life and liberty of their citizens. The court's order is not that Terri's food and fluids COULD be removed. It was that they WILL be removed.
If that is not an unconstitutional encroachment on personal liberty, privacy and right to make one's own decisions, nothing is.

Although many of us do, those who should have released Terri from the fraudulent court jesters, greer and HINO, have turned a blind eye AND shirked their sworn duties to protect an innocent from murder....and besides talking/protesting, we are otherwise helpless to aid her.

They didn't site any previous rulings like one would expect. They just said it was "THE MANDATE".

Is there a group down there with the wherewital to rent a billboard with the message that "States Do Not Have the Power to Starve to People to Death"? I am willing to make a contribution if there is.

That was after he had Terri's healthy cats euthanized, and before his concubine's mother died of "cancer" in the house he bought with Terri's rehab money.

Why don't one of us post them on our FR page, and say so in the tagline!
I've got the letter to Bense on mine so maybe pc or someone else will donate their FR page to contact #'s,
It would be easy to keep them handy if we did this.

Well we were definitely asleep at the wheel when King was writing those end of life statutes. No More! The sleeper has awakened! (I don't like that movie...8^) )
Floridians know now that King is a RINO and we are on the watch for future RINO's, we are going to return our government to be representative as it is supposed to be.

There is a company that rents billboard for a day with your message on it. I don't have the funds but I think I remember the phone #. Not sure if this company has boards in Pinellas or not.

From the doctor's examination of Terri in 2002:
The patient can clearly swallow, and is able to swallow approximately 2 liters of water per day (the daily amount of saliva generated). Water is one of the most difficult things for people to swallow. It is unlikely that she currently needs the feeding tube. She should be evaluated by an Ear Nose and Throat specialist, and have a new swallowing exam.

Judge Greer must definitely have his own agenda here or someone is holding something over his head! I'd like to know!

Attorney Pat Anderson:
Terri ahh, got her hair done that day, and spent more money than he thought she should have... They had a GREAT BIG fight before he went off to work. Ahh, she was so upset about the fight, that she called her best friend from work, a girl that she had discussed, perhaps both of them getting a divorce, and taking an apartment together... She called this girl, Jackie Rhodes, told her about the big fight... She was sufficiently upset that Jackie Rhodes asked her: "Should I come over? Should I come over and spend the night with you so you'll be safe?" And Terri said, "No, I'll either be asleep, or pretend to be asleep when he gets home from work."... and the next thing Jackie heard, was she was in the emergency room.

Please, Lord, whatever it takes. There are too many of us begging for a miracle to be justifiably ignored.
In my opinion, of course.

Denied, overruled, it ain't gonna happen. What if Jeb Bush were to order that somebody be sent to the hospital to supervise oral feeding of Terri when the tube is removed? There is no statute authorizing the refusal of oral food and hydration, and refusal to allow it could be the basis for an immediate removal of Terri from Michael's control. Although Michael could probably immediately file suit to have Terri returned, I don't think it would take very long for Jeb Bush to produce clear and compelling evidence that Terri's condition has been wilfully misrepresented.

"Those poor souls on death row....we should just do them the favor of putting them out of that miserable existence of just waiting for death. There is no meaning, they're just hooked up to the state resusitation system."
Think judge greer would buy that and order a few lethal injections.
(Nah, too merciful .... we'd better ask for starvations and dehydrations.)
