It's scary. They would be worse than George Orwell's 1984. Every bit of history destroyed and rewritten with this gobbelty gook.

That is precisely the intent of the Islamists, as articulated by OBL himself.

Embrace Islam or die...that was his very clear message.  And that message has been taken up by terrorists around the world.  It's a very real threat, and were he alive Orwell himself would be shaking his head, thinking 'this can't be real....it was just a book that I wrote!'

Interviewer: They took basalt rocks from Mecca…

Dr. 'Abd Al-Baset Sayyid: …Basalt rocks from Mecca, and investigated the places where they were formed.

In the British Museum there are three pieces of the black stone (from the Ka'ba) …and they said that this rock didn't come from our solar system.

One want's to ask, just how much is left of the Ka'ba if
infidels keep taking pieces of it?

I spent several months in an Islamic country and listened to their state sponsored English broadcasts daily. I was amazed as what actually came out of their mouths, things like being able to judge a man's character by the color of his eyes or shape of his nose.

Their "Holy Koran" program pretty much portrayed The Great Prophet (PBUH) as a highwayman and philanderer, although they took great pains to justify his theivery and ferocity.

This stuff doesn't shock me in the least.

Fortunately for our fellow Freepers, you are here to set them right when they 'pooh-pooh' this sort of thing and claim that it's taken out of context and isn't representative of the Government's position.  Most people who have lived out their lives in the West have absolutely no idea how completely different life in the Middle East and in Islamic countries is....the Democratic party is full of such people who refuse to take these threats seriously.

Interviewer: Why did they make it disappear?

Dr. 'Abd Al-Baset Sayyid: There was intent there…

Interviewer: So it may be said that this suppression of information was significant.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. The plot thickens!!

Yes, everything is express in terms of grand, sneaky plots, i.e. Israel's 'zionist' conspiracies, America's singleminded desire for oil, etc. etc.

When people are breathtakingly ignorant, they will oftentimes explain things that they don't understand in terms of great conspiracies, magic, etc.

Believe me, if they allowed that little pile of rocks (the house of a great god ironicly) to be inspected, they will find that they don't come from where they claim they do. They are just local rocks piled up into an alter, the only thing available in a desert to build anything out of.

I suspect those 3 peaces of black stone (the Allah rock god) are his dayghters, Al-Uza, Alat, and Manat. Chips of the old block.

"It was very significant, since…the Ka'ba (in Mecca)… They said it emits radiation."

Not yet, but it can be arranged.....it'll be a lot hotter too...

I would imagine that the response would be along the lines of 'because the rock is holy, it continuously regenerates itself if it has been blasphemed'

Insane conspiracy theorists always have a mystical answer for every hole in their theories.

You won't get any arguments from me.  I'm rather tired of the Islamic world continually failing to keep it's house in order.

Doctor of what?

Sounds like an MLM meeting.

I have no doubt that he is a proud holder of a doctorate in "Islamic Sciences" or some other silliness.

Being from Washington State, I am terribly embarrassed of the fact that (among other things) the University of Washington became the first institution on the planet to offer degrees in 'women's studies'.

I think that they have homosexual-related 'degrees' also.

Higher education is quite often far from being either.

Hopefully the Islamic world will VERY quickly experience an Enlightenment of their own, or we will be forced to bestow it upon them.

Wadaya expect from the 14th century?
14th century? What are you saying? That's blasphemy. The 14th century was a time of great heresy. No, the great truths of Islamic Science are from a purer, more perfect age: the 7th century.

And this is from the same country where in the 1960s, the religious leader issued a fatwa claiming that the world is flat. I wonder if they have tried to explain/justify that since?

I also understand that Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, better known as "Baghdad Bob," found employment as a TV news anchor in Abu Dhabi last year. Too bad we can't blame this on him.

Thanks for the transcript.

You're quite welcome  :-)   I hope, however, that you might still take a moment to look at the video clips as well, because the facial expressions, mannerisms and tonal inflections of the broadcasts add immeasurably to the experience.  They tend to drive home the fact that this sort of drivel is absolutely central to their entire culture and being.

And don't overlook the other three clips and transcripts....there's a basket of gems from MEMRI today

:-)

Just imagine what this has done to the magnetic equilibrium! Because of infidels, our planet is now radiating in all sorts of weird directions. This is certain to bring the wrath of allah (may neutrons be upon him). It's just a matter of time before kitchens around the world suddenly experience swarms of unbound refrigerator icons.

The infidels of the world should immediately begin efforts to restore mecca to normal radiation levels.

A leading Pakistani nuclear scientist who was questioned by the Pakistani government last week concerning his ties to the Taliban is known as a proponent of "Islamic science," a weird hybrid of scientific terminology and Islamic lore.

Sultan Bashiruddin Mehmood is a pioneer in the development of nuclear technology in Pakistan. But in 1980, as a senior director of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, he "recommended that djinns [or genies], being fiery creatures, ought to be tapped as a free source of energy. By this means, a final solution to Pakistan's energy problems would be found."

When they discovered this radiation, they started to zoom in, and they found that it emanates from Mecca – and, to be precise, from the Ka'ba.

Hmmmm... What actually happened is that Armstrong saw into the future, a time AFTER Mecca had been nuked!

Say, aren't you Persian? I think its one of the great tragedies of the world that one of the noblest civilisations -- the Persian -- is under the yoke of these camel traders.

Secondly -- doesn't the Koran say that actually the earth is flat?

Reminds me of the time a Muslim acquaintance told me that Louie Armstrong converted to Islam when he heard the voice of Mohammed while he was walking on the moon.

Typically slammie lies, like their lies about their numbers and their converts
