It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; starting today our weekends will begin on Friday. SHEESH-- thanks to the dogging for a whole week of our resident blabbemouth dear bulldog watchdog, one 'Gramma of Brad' by screen name, we cannot have forgotten that this is THE DAY to mark the years since the occasion of a cold and dreary February one on which was born our Very Own Your Honor -- The Mayor of...of... sumpin' i'm shure --

Despite an aversion to all things kitchen-related, LadyX rose early and entered her chamber of horrors kitchen to do battle with baking a special cake for Rus.

I've been a little busy the last day and a half; She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed rolled her Jeep on the way to work yesterday morning.

She's OK; dislocated her jaw (it popped back on it's own) and banged herself up pretty good. She's got some really heavy-duty pain killers going on right now.

In any event, I'll be back to a semi-normal round of posting as the weekend kicks in more, but as you can imagine, it's a bit hectic 'round these parts right now.
