Voelpel’s piece begins with what could be considered an inflammatory statement. The Load Zone was a sex club – not a “gay” sex club. It might come as a surprise to many people, but many men who are not gay commit homosexual acts. The area along Antique Row used to be a cruising zone for guys looking to pick up hustlers – young men who sell sex or sexual services – and many of the “johns” were straight men.
The rise in HIV infections among young women is not because they are engaging in sex with gay men. I would venture to guess that as many as 50 percent of the men who patronized the Load Zone were straight men.
There was no doubt what the Load Zone was going to be. As soon as Hopkins described the construction to me, I knew it was a sex club.

Deception and 'it's not our fault' rationalizations are all we can expect from people who engage in behaviors so utterly repulsive that they have to hide the reality of them from the public.
So it looks like we're in for another false campaign to convince straights that AIDs is their disease a well.

You are onto something. This is in line with the propaganda spread during the homosexual priest exposure. The homo-advocates worked overtime to say that male on male sex was not a homosexual act.
This is just more BS. ANYONE who performs a homosexual act is performing a homosexual act.
There seems to be a spectrum of orientations, rather than a simple gay/straight boundary. I would say that guys who are exclusively gay are "gay", those who are exclusively hetero are "straight", and all the rest in between are "bi"
By definition, if you "commit homosexual acts," you are a homosexual and no amount of tongue twisting (pun intended) will change that.

Uh-huh (sarc.). OK, so the homosexuals and the sexual...let's call them deviants...hang out in the same places. They do the same things. Have sex with the same guys.
And how is this different from homosexual behavior? It's not. They're both mentally imbalanced.
Oh, I should also ask...does this mean the straight-guys-having-sex-with-women-too group gets their own logo - I mean - flag? Maybe they can have a thunder cloud instead of a rainbow.

Of course they do, because it's proof homosexuality is a choice. There is no such thing as a part time pathology. And "bisexuality" is the AIDS link to the heterosexual community.

Homosexual advocates had adopted the "one act" rule. One homosexual act meant the person was a homosexual. This was particularly useful tool used to count the prison population.
