A billboard at a traffic intersection in Baghdad reads, "How we will provide a better country for our kids; elections of the National Assembly. Elect Iraq."

This was a Central Command release advising the media that the aerial pics were available to the media. NO pics accompanied the release but it advised the media as to how to get them.

No doubt the media has overwhelmingly availed themselves of this opportunity to broadcast pics favourable to the US and has been broadcasting the pics all day.

I just happened to have had my tv tuned to news stations at the wrong moments.

Amazing videos. I watched them both.

Near the end of the 2nd clip I heard that it was about 20 Klicks to the polling site. Do I have that right? That is 12 miles. OMG, 12 miles there and back in addition to the distance from where they live anyhow.

Amazing. I thought that the videos were long. Imagine walking 25 miles plus just to vote!
