Box-o-Rox has asked for a full hour in which to call Dr. Rice a lying slut. Meantime, the senior Senator from the state of West Virginia has brought some friends of his down to testify to Rice's unfitness for her office:
Other Dhimmis have asked for time to object to Dr. Rice as well. Meantime, I wonder if McCain or Hagel will actually rise to her defense?

You're undoubtedly right. The Box probably doesn't have the mental acuity to accurately perceive a direct threat or nonthreat to herself. She's just being manipulated and fed ideas and words from somewhere else, very likely Hilary.
I do not think that Condoleeza Rice would ever run for the Senate from anywhere. She no doubt sees how utterly ineffectual they are and wouldn't waste her valuable life. If she runs for anything, it will be President or VP, nothing less.
Just saw on C-span 2--next speakers will be Byrd, Hagel, Allen, Boxer.

Calling themselves Progressives is a little like someone taking a pair of smelly and threadbare canvas sneakers, slapping white shoe polish on them, and thinking they can be sold to the world as new shoes.

Bill is ripping off the platform of the guest he tore into last night. He's just seeking attention. He is an opportunist. If you remember that, everything he says and does falls into place.
I still maintain that while the American people make mistakes, they are not stupid. IMO, the greatest threat the Dems present in '08 is the parazlying reactionary fear Hill seems to command among some conservatives. This, "Oh no! Hill is running! She's pretending to be something she isn't! The Sheeple will but it! Face it, she's our President for the next eight years!" If not that reaction we constantly hear versions of the "ABH" refrain. It's as if conservatives are setting up a scenario that will ensure this fear is realized.
I'm not afraid of Hillary. I have faith in the people. I'm not even convinced Hill will be the nominee. I don't think the Dems know who they are and so I don't think we know which candidate they will pick. Will they return to the triangulation platform? Will they continue down the Moore path? Will sanity return? Until we have the answer to that we cannot know which direction they will head for a candidate.
If consrvatives really want to win, then they need to keep an eye on all possible movements sigannling a candidate out of the Democrat Party. To focus on a single person allows the possibility to be blindsided by another. Also, we NEED to establish a strong four year record. Stop the petty complaints and work on (lean if necessary) on Republicans to put forth a strong agenda. It'll be to their benefit, as well as ours. We develop a strong record that is going to seriously dampen the Dem '08 candidates hope for success no matter who it is.
Lets hope Sheets doesnt start giving us lessons in Roman history today..

Just heard on MSNBC that their question of the day is "Are democrats playing politics with Condoleezza Rice's nomintation" and the vote is currently tied.

That would be good. I remember watching the Clarence Thomas Confirmation SMearings on PBS. (I didn't have cable, back then). I was disgusted with the way members of the Democratic party, and their media henchmen, treated Thomas. I left the party for good.
People who need to smear and lie and distort to get ahead, don't deserve to lead others.
