The Babs and Klavern Show! (Senate Condi Debate Live Thread)
C-Span ^ | today | me

Posted on 01/25/2005 4:40:04 AM PST by section9

Yes folks, I know it's a couple of hours away, but for you loyal C-Span listeners, the debate will be carried live on C-Span 2 today. Live streaming on C-Span 2's server for those of you with high bandwidth carriers.

Box-o-Rox has asked for a full hour in which to call Dr. Rice a lying slut. Meantime, the senior Senator from the state of West Virginia has brought some friends of his down to testify to Rice's unfitness for her office:

Other Dhimmis have asked for time to object to Dr. Rice as well. Meantime, I wonder if McCain or Hagel will actually rise to her defense?

(...sound of crickets...)

Arlen Specter? Anybody?

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Break until 2:15----they "worked" for two hours, poor darlings must be exhausted.

And trying to take over here on FR. I'm stunned by the number of "visits" some of the DU types have made to FR today. Disrupting threads with their usual brilliant dialog.....like FU. I suppose we should be glad they have such a limited vocabulary....and such limited minds

They're scared.

Id like to see Brownback or Santorum get up there and start blasting some libs this afternoon.

I'd be happy to see anyone do that. Santorum is a possibility. I like Sam Brownback, but he seems so mild mannered, at least when I've seen him.

Im not so sure I like Frist's strategy of non-engagement.

At least send Trent Lott into the debate and give them an hour of fiery opposition.

The DU types know where to go to get detailed, accurate reporting.

I am very busy at work and appreciate your reporting and analysis.

Thanks for your good work.

But of what? Is it that they are aware of just how whacko and cartoonish they have become in the eyes of America? Or are they just scared of what they think Bush might accomplish? What exactly are they afraid of? I don't think they know what they are afraid of....they are just being ugly.....because it's what they do.

Has the freshman Senator from GA spoken yet? Sen Johnny Isakson? Thanks. He beat Herman Cain in the primary, and I plan to hold his feet to the fire to make sure he at least tries to do what he said he would.

be more forthcoming and truthful (but he does not come close to calling them liars as some of his colleagues have).

You don't think that is calling them liars? More truthful means telling the truth which means that he thinks the administration doesn't.

No I just watched it on Imus he got that tight look on his face and so did Lynne. Here is the link to the transcript of the interview. The comment about his daughter doesn't look like much on paper but what had been both light hearted and serious. Turned downright chilly with the one word answers by the both of them. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6847999/

No, he wasn't calling them liars. He meant he felt (and I don't agree) that the administration had "held back" more information that they should have shared. I did not use quotes because I was taking down the gist and not exact wording, btw, so stand down and chill out.

Typical insensitivity of the Beast, Boxer and Sheets....wait until after everyone's got a full stomach from lunch before they speak.

Good point, so the Dems just have 3:35 remaining on the clock if we dont use the time.

So it could be over by 6:00 Eastern.
