Pittsylvania Co., VA - A Pittsylvania County school is being sued, accused of forcing a young boy to dress like a girl. The Twin Springs Elementary student claims school officials made him wear red fingernail polish, red lipstick and a hairbow, while attending classes.
The 5th grader says he was required to be referred to as "Mattie the new student." According to court documents, school officials deny all charges. We'll have much more on this story on the Night Team.
If they tried to force that on me, it would be over my dead body.
I'm a newbie -- what does "BTTT" mean? (I keep seeing it in these threads.)
How'd you get a judgement for only $300 a month?
BTTT means Bump To The Top
Some people just type Bump

I'm sure if this story is accurate, we'll be hearing more about it....
"I can't imagine this."
- Neither can I, but it should be a relatively easy case to prove, one way or the other. There must have been dozens of witnesses to such an event.
The only situation where I can see this happening is if it were some kind of punishment for making fun of or teasing the boy's female classmates. If so, it was a poorly considered and completely inappropriate measure.
That said I will take a wait and see attitude about this. Could be the kid is lying, could be he isn't.
ONLY $300 ! It's enough to put me in a bind. I can't afford a car payment because I'm already making one that's not mine.
If this happened, was this to make the boy see what it's like being a girl? Sounds like some idiotic sociological experiment meant to stop bullying. Not a good idea, though, and you know what they say about the road to hell being paved with good intentions. Doubtless the family will sue the school to the eyeballs and win big.
If this is true, I can only imagine. What I can't imagine is that this suit is based on lies if for no other reason than the fact that there would be too many school kids who could easily dispute what the boy says.
I've got 2 with 2 different ex-wives (Don't ask) and each one of them gets $500 a month. I don't actually mind it a bit. They're my kids, after all. Instead of focusing on what's going out, I try to be grateful to God that I have it to go out. I spend more on my kids that what I often used to make in a month, so there's a large miracle right there.
I know that one of the exes uses the money to pay her own bills, but there's nothing I can do about that so I don't think about it.
