As others have noted on this thread, this is not the first time that Noonan has done this. After having read her book, I think her venue is in writing.
Her mouth seems to get ahead of her brain on the air.

Not too often a President will risk his life to boost the spirits of his Troops. I'm not surprised at his reaction. The President moved from a Politician, to a supportive C-I-C, to one of them.

I did hear her say she thought the speech was "over the top" and that she found it "grating." Alan said he doesn't understand how the president thinks he can bring peace to the entire world in four short years, and surprisingly, to me anyway, Peggy seemed to indicate that that was what she didn't like about the speech, she felt the president was overreaching.
I was surprised because I expected Peggy to sigh and tell Alan the obvious, that the president doesn't expect to bring democracy and freedom to the entire world in four years, but he certainly intends to get a good start.

correct--she has done this before. Frankly, I think it is jealousy.
Facelift? Are you kidding? :o) The MSM and dummies would have been all over the place with that. She's in the public eye too much for healing time. I understand she has become a real work-out nut with a trainer. Plus judging from her mother's appearance today - it's in the genes.

I listened to Peggy Noonan today and caught her with H&C. I believe when she made that "grating" comment, she was referring to the end of his speech .. where he was saying "the greatest achievements .." or whatever were coming.
Anyone have a link to the speech from today?

She was heaping praise upon the speech this afternoon, as was Bill Kristol. Her 'grating' comment tonight to Hannity stopped me in my tracks.
If her negative statement was caused by professional jealousy/competition, it would have been her initial reaction. The flip makes no sense (unless she's been in contact with failed presidential candidate Kerry). In that case, we can watch for the flop.
All three dresses look great. And the models are great too!
