All systems are go for the D.C. Chapter's American Sector on the Inaugural Parade route.
The weather is cold, but warmer than the past few days. The sun is peaking through the clouds. Snow covers the sidewalks, but Pennsylvania Avenue has been cleared.
The barricades are up everywhere. Small groups of people are walking around checking things out.
I did a recon last night with BufordP after the Freeper dinner. ANSWER has their bleachers set up on John Marshall Plaza at the starting point for the parade at 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. They also have a stage and speaker risers right on the sidewalk at Pennsylvania Ave.
For all their wailing about the Presidential Inaugural Committee denying the public access to the sidewalk on Pennsylvania Ave., ANSWER has taken up most of the sidewalk space themselves with their stage and sound equipment, thereby denying their own people access to the sidewalk on Pennsylvania Ave. I hope the courts take that hypocriscy into account if their case is appealed.
Snow covered most of the American Sector last night. For those not sure where we'll be today, here's the info:
The northeast corner of 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Look for Freepers wearing white Pajama Patrol badge t-shirts with the word 'Marshal' in red letters on the back.
We'll be there from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. We'll have a rally from 10:30 to 11:30. After that, we'll line the parade route in our permitted area on the same block, just a few feet down on the north side of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
We'll be calling in updates throughout the day.
Morning Kristinn....Got the coffee on, a fresh yeast roll in the oven, and am ready to light the fire.....WIll send some heat your way.....Have a GREAT day! Remember you are celebrating for ALL of us....So let the party begin! WOO HOO!

Re: Mathews
ROFLMAO.........just made my day!
Matthews is a loud moth Bully -- as is O'Reilly!
I'm there in spirit, even though my body is 150 miles to the south-southeast. Keep up the good work!!
Today will mark another milestone in our remarkable heritage.
We will, with a few minor exceptions... we will swear in the head of state without turmoil,
strife, revolution or civil war as we have done for more than 200 years.
A country and its people may be known and recognized for many things yet, "The United States
of America" is unique in that it is the only country in the world recognized primarily for an idea and not as much for some tangible attribute......geography, language, culture, etc..
America is recognized worldwide, imperfect as it may be, for its sustained goal of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Warts and all, America still shines bright as the beacon for a Democratic - Republic and rule By the People, For the People and of the People.
May God Bless us all.
Am watching the traffic camera at 7th and Pennsylvania, can the Freepers be seen in this cam?
Also, is this best cam to use for viewing the parade?
Thanks!
Do you have a link? Please!
Be safe and fill the streets with affection for the brave men and women in the military and our President.

This link is to Trafficland, which uses the DC Dept of transportation cameras, works better.

For either map, click on the green dot on 7th Street, just above Const. Ave.
If video times out, just click on the dot again.
