Dog .. and a GREAT day it is !!!!!! I am sooooo excited. The chaos, closed streets, traffic, etc. were starting to get to me until I watched JFn going after Condi Rice on Tuesday night .. then I remembered! THAT MORON is not being inaugurated, Bush is !!!!!!!

We're doing 2 of the balls tonight, which I hadn't really been looking forward to ... now it's looking a whole lot better.

Good morning everyone.What a great day it is going to be!

MEG, it's a mixed blessing .... on the one hand, I feel blessed to be able to go to and volunteer at these events, and on the other, they are a nightmare. We have to travel on the DC Metro at 1pm in formal attire, to get there 5 hours before the event begins! In the past, we could go in regular clothes and change before the ball .. that allowed us to go to the swearing in .. but now with security as it is, that's impossible. SO, we will watch the swearing in on tv, hop the metro, and hang out for hours and hours.

I have to remember to bring a camera, and will report in as soon as we get back, around 2am (assuming I can stay awake!!!). Gonna be a loooooooooooong day. A long and GLORIOUS day! Everytime I remember it's for Bush I am re-energized.
