Veep is on Imus!!
Morning ladies....what a great day.
Senile Byrd's plan to delay Condi's confirmation as Sec.of State is not "pretty." It is Petty, Petty, Petty.
Cheney said Saddam had no stockpile, but he had the people, the technology, and he clearly had the intentions to go back in the wmd business.
Imus is asking serious questions, Cheney giving serious answers, this is very cool...and though he doesn't desserve it, this is quite a coup for Imus, getting the VP today.
Imus asked if Cheney was angry when Kerry mentioned his daughter, Cheney said, "yes". Imus asked Lynne if she was angry, and she said "yes". Their one word replies seemed to shock Imus, in fact Imus said he didn't expect them to answer that honestly.
Imus asked Cheney if he really looked for someone else to be Bush's VP, which got hearty laughs from both Cheneys.

No, but they are trying. Condi's confirmation will be held up until next week from what I heard (W wanted her to be sworn in this afternoon) due to the Rat liberal senators wanting full Senate debate. On F&F this morning, Fred and Mort pointed out how obstructionist this seems to a majority of the country.
OTOH, it was pointed out by E.D. that at the ball last night an Iraqi veteran came up to her and said that watching Fox News while he was there kept his spirits up because it was the only one who told the truth about what was happening there.
Pelosi's denial that Boxer called Condi a liar is a lie.She repeatedly assaulted her truthfulness.
Byrd's denial of a vote is grandstanding at it's worst and he does not have past "credentials" to so this without suspicion, valid or not.
I think his past leadership of the KKK would shut him up...but he's not a Republican.
I thought the same thing this morning. This is just another oppritunity to say "We won. Ha ha."

What I'd like to see during the "debate" in the full Senate is all the GOP senators, save one..OFF the floor..and not say anything..IOW..not give the session, nor the Dems comments.. any weight..basically ignore it..
