Don't forget about his pardoning Clinton

Let's add to that his pardoning of all the Viet Nam deserters, his likely instatement of an honorable discharge to John Kerry, and his malaise speech where he told us America's best days were behind us.

He said that our standard of living had reached a peak and that we must accept less comfortable life styles, basically because the rest of the world doesn't have what we have. That was the last speech of his that I ever watched, so I remember it well.

It's amazing how Carter is tied to all three members of the Axis of Evil: Iran (Islamic Revolution thanks to Carter), Iraq (Saddam Hussein may have come to power as a result of the prior event) and finally, North Korea (Who would have thought he'd be an architect of another foreign policy failure THIRTEEN YEARS after leaving office!)

Perhaps Jimmy is the grease that keeps the axis spinning. Or is it the other way around?
