What a fine snapshot of today's Democrat party.
The Communist Manifesto's Road to Socialism through Democracy's COURTS SYSTEMS ?
Lenins endorsement of democracy is enough for me to do my best to make sure it never happens here.
Yup... Republic all the way!
I don't know if you've seen these but how many of these goals do you think have been achieved since 1963?

And in Washington State even if the voters won't cooperate they simply stuff the ballot box.
Sounds like the democrates platform:
24) Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
25) Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
26) Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as "normal, natural, and healthy."
27) Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
28) Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
29) Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
You're absolutely right about the Dims, but you need to remember how strongly the GOP supports what it calls "democracy" & continues, w/o question, to call America a democracy.
According to the Constitution & several of the Founding Fathers' writings, nothing could be further from the truth. The Constitution establishes a REPUBLICAN form of federal government, & says that the states themselves must also have the same. In the Federalist Papers #10, James Madison tears the idea of democracy to shreds....please read it for yourself if you don't believe me.
No, not thru the courts, but instead by advocating popular majority rule over the rule of written law. It can be seen these days by popular ballot initiatives & propositions or amending state constitutions by majority vote--last years' pro-marraige state constitutional amendments are an excellent example here. It's all done by popular majority vote as opposed to electing representatives who would write & enforce the laws.
For what it's worth, that's my take on things anyway.
Since 1963?????
I wonder how many of these are being carried out in some way, shape, or forn this very day! Go back & read # 15 again.
16 and 17 hit pretty close to home, too.
Regarding # 29, I saw on C-SPAN just before the election a group of progressives in the Old North Church in Boston doing just that--they trashed the US Constitution, saying it was written by a bunch of slave-holding, rich, white landowners who cared nothing about liberty, & that it has no meaning in our days. Speak about repugnant...I was furious!
Back in the good old days (1900-1920), capsules containing tape worm eggs were marketed as diet pills, would you protect the right to do so?
Anyone who gives the issue a moments thought knows that some people are gullible or ignorant (how many of us are not ignorant in some areas) and others have no scruples what so ever. In my opinion, it is an appropriate function of government to criminalize fraud and prosecute the perps, just as it is to jail some thief who breaks into your house.
That's exactly why Hillary & Co. want so badly to abolish the electoral college and establish universal suffrage, meanwhile dumbing down the electorate. Then its "Vote for me and you'll get a government check every month!" Voila! the Socialist States of America. Easily done because, as we all know, "Those who would rob Peter to pay Paul can always count on Paul's suport"
Neocon vs. Neocom
I'm aware of this move toward "big government, only slower."
The Constitution establishes a REPUBLICAN form of federal government, & says that the states themselves must also have the same.
Yes, I know.
In the Federalist Papers #10, James Madison tears the idea of democracy to shreds....please read it for yourself if you don't believe me.
I have.
boomarking so I can read and discuss this when I get back:).
Bump for later
