All addicts experience anxiety when they're unable to "fix". Oh sure. I'm an addict now. Maybe I should take up coke. People can take their little vials into the bathroom and snort up. Can't see it. Can't smell it.
Gosh, I'd just love to sit next to a coke head on a long flight. Yep. Sounds fun to ME! heh!

Oh sure. I'm an addict now. Tobacco users are in the big leagues now.
They've got twelve step programs for y'all and everything.

Try sitting next to a drunk for 11 hours as I did coming from Hawaii a couple of years ago.
Because we were stuck inside the plane for an hour before takoff the flight attendant kept giving out free booze.
Nice huh? I wish they'd eliminate alcohol on flights but I'm not about to make it my life's cause.I'll just deal with it!

Don't get defensive. Tobacco is addicting - I know I smoked for 30 years. Quitting was the hardest thing I ever did.
People who don't smoke don't understand. It still galls me to hear a never-smoker with their damn sanctimonious "just stop" crap-- just like the stupid mayor in this piece.
And yes, smoking was pleasurable. I sometimes dream about it, but lately I turn it down in my dreams (a good sign my subconscious is on board after 5 years).
