The shameful legacy of Jack Kennedy's goofy younger sibling.
Tom Paxton, The Best of the Vanguard Years | January 7, 2004 | Gerard J. Perry (Kind of)

Posted on 01/07/2005 3:33:14 PM PST by Do not dub me shapka broham

You are jetting to Martha's Vineyard,

Doted upon by fawning aides.

You sit in Senate chambers

Speak with a forked-tongue

While the cowards who are your colleagues

Abide by their solemn pact.

You're ruining reputations.

Damn, it's shameful how you act!

BUT THE WHITE BONES OF KOPECHNE,

SUBMERGED BENEATH THE BAY,

ARE TESTIMONY TO YOUR PERFIDY!

SHE WILL BE YOUR LEGACY!

How does it feel, Mr. K?

While you dissemble to the press corps.

While you lech after younger women.

While you garner the left's praises.

While you bask warmly in their glow.

There are millions of forgotten corpses.

There are thousands who have families,

Which they'll never get to know.

(Chorus.)

Oh, it's Kennedy in D.C.

It's Kennedy in Cali.

It's Kennedy in Boston.

Lapping up the scene.

But the white bones of Kopechne

Tell a very tragic tale.

You may have been a swimmer

But what you did to her was just obscene.

But the white bones of Kopechne

and the tragic lot that was her fate

They'll be legacy, Mr. K...

I apologize for this vanity thread, in advance. I know that DFU, Mudboy and some of the other resident poets on FreeRepublic could have probably done a better with this material.

However, I felt compelled to write something after listening to that lecherous, addled, senescent, cirrhotic freak show yesterday.

AAAARRGH!

I was driven up a wall and just had to get this off my chest.

Your patience is appreciated.

And Conservativeman, he cost me a whole new keyboard. It didn't mix with the fresh-brewed Colombian Arabic it encountered following one of his posts.

BUMP! For a good worthy post.

I hope when he crosses into the pit of hell that his torment will be her image struggling to escape but left by him to die.

Probably won`t even bother him then either though.

Fat Teddy drove his ex wife to drink, too. That entire clan is dysfunctional, to say the least.

It's a shame.

The least screwed-up member of their extended family is William Kennedy Smith.

How sick is that?(!)

If Karma works, maybe not so steady Teddy will come back as a woman, or a mother of a daughter, and suffer what his ilk has done to women. Maybe Bab's Boxer will be her husband.

Thanks!

It's inching up to nearly two hundred "views."

This may be my first well-received Vanity thread.

Who woulda thunk it?

If Karma works right, he will get drunk, drive off into the water in the same spot and drown his fat all.

When I was about 10 years old, I shook Teddy's hand as he walked in a parade. It was probably the Saint Patricks Day in South Boston, but I simply cannot recall.

Years later, I always wash my hands a little bit more than I really need to.

Fat Teddy simply cannot be critcized enough in my opinion.
