Thank you. That's what I thought, but it hardly seems right.
Leahy has such poor diction that I can hardly follow what he is saying. Now he is trashing Ashcroft.
Oh I'm sure the democrats will be more than fair to Gonzales.
Do I REALLY need a scarcasm tag?
Let's blame her; it will make an interesting change from the usual Blame Bush Bash.
Test
Gonzales looks ready to do battle with the Prima Donnas.
No, but I'll go find it but I want to hear from Cornyn first.
Clinton-zipper...
Leahy's just about said he will be confirmed..so, will the GOP and the candidate sit back and sallow the Dems to use him as a pinanata..knowing he will get the votes in the end, or will they fight back from the getgo..THis is all about putting down markers...
As we watch this, it's important to remember, Gonzales didn't actually write any of the memos he's going to be grilled over.
Last night on Hardball, Ted Olsen did a good job of explaining all this...wish I had taken notes.s
Senator Cornyn up now. I forgot that I like him a lot.
Senator Leahy is trying to trash Bush with Abu Grahab again. Trying to trash Gonzales at the get go. The dems haven't changed. They still support terrorism.
He always sounds like he's drunk or has marbles in his mouth.
Disagree..it's a good idea..seniority leads to incompetence..fresh blood every 6 years is a good thing..
Specter's actions at the Clarence Thomas hearings were some of his most redeeming. He was very good. I am hoping with all the attention that will be paid to him that he will rise to the occasion. I am hopeful anyway.
Be glad that his poor diction shields you from the poison he speaks. Byron York wrote an article about him sometime back in which he said that Leahy was the MOST disliked senator in the Senate....by the other Senators.
Olson kicked Chrissie's butt! Hope Alberto will do the same to Leahy, et.al.
And whattheheck!!!!! This is on CSpan1!!!! If Dennis Hastert had his act together, the House would be in sessions, and this wouldn't even be playing live on C-Span!! I always wish the Republicans were better co-ordinated in thwarting the democrats quest for attention.
