The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

2. Why did he not mention his wife's wishes during one of two malpractice cases?
3. If Michael expected Terri to live to at least age 51, why did he order her caregivers not to treat her for a potentially life-threatening infection in August of 1993, and another in late 1995?
4. Why did he invoke a "do not resuscitate" order just a few months after the jury award?
5. Why, in 1997, did he announce his engagement to another woman, while still married to Terri?
6. Why, also in 1997, did he hire George Felos, an attorney with a reputation for fighting "right to die" cases, to represent him?
7. Why did he petition the court, also in 1997, to have Terri's feeding tube removed so she would starve and dehydrate to death.
8. Why did several nursing home workers swear that Terri's demeanor changed after he was in the room with her?
9. Why did nursing home workers swear that he at times stormed into the facility asking when "that bitch" would die?
10. Why did he have Terri, who does not have a terminal illness, moved to a hospice in 2000, even though hospices are designed for people who are expected to die within six months? According to his earlier calculations, she still had at least 15 more years left to live.

I have NEVER read such encouraging words about Terri from two people who met her for the first time this past Christmas eve.
I had to go to the link you provided to reread this article...........I AM SO THRILLED AND AT THE SAME TIME SO AGHAST AT WHAT FELOS AND MIKE THE MONSTER ARE TRYING TO DO I CANNOT STAND IT!
Why is MEDICAID paying for this young and alert and ALIVE woman to spend her days in a HOUSE OF DEATH?

I wish I would have written, "Rome burned while Nero Fiddled. Terri had 8 teeth extracted do to no dental care. She has no dental care on the instructions of her husband (in name only). While you fiddled around with your investigation for a year and a quarter, Terri suffered. It happened on YOUR watch. "

On a happier note, I know of someone who shares your birthday, your passion for Terri (even more so than you), who just turned 40 and had a nice surprise visit from his family, who also happens to live in your area! He's even pretty good-lookin' to boot! But you'll have to work out the arrangements all on your own...I've given you enough clues!
P.S. - I'm hoping the voting is going well. Would love to get Terri some more great publicity!
