The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.
Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views.
More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.
See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.
I called the Florida Advocacy Center, hit "O" since the menu didn't fit the nature of my call, and they said "They knew what was going on and that they were helping too." That was all they said. Their phone number is on this thread and downstairs here, not in front of me right now.
Pardon me if my getting shot with real bullets is problematic for me because it would ruin my family's life if anything happened to me, blah, blah, blah, you aren't here and don't realize that they do shoot people in the back here for real.
Now, please stop disrupting. I have no further comments to make to you for that reason.
FV aka the one who "shut down the government".
Bump.
"Pardon me if my getting shot with real bullets is problematic for me"
Was there ever any request that you personally take such steps?
"you aren't here and don't realize that they do shoot people in the back here for real."
Not exclusive to Florida.
Ethan Allan posted a relevant Florida statute: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1327247/posts?q=1&&page=302#302 on that topic.
"please call your US California representatives. I've called YOUR REPRESENTATIVES ALREADY."
A worthwhile effort which might prevent a future similar situation here. Unfortunately it won't help Terri. Today's SCOTUS decision places the issue totally within Florida's borders.
National Clergy Council
In response to today's Supreme Court denial, which condemns Terri Schiavo to a painful death through starvation and dehydration, the Christian Defense Coalition and the National Clergy Council will today issue a national call to the faith community and people of good will to travel to Florida to pray and to plead for her life.
The Christian Defense Coalition and the National Clergy Council gained national prominence when they led mass demonstrations in Montgomery, Alabama, in support of the display of the Ten Commandments in the state Supreme Court building there.
The groups will hold a news conference today at 4:30 p.m. in front of the US Supreme Court at the south end of its front steps.
"Today the Supreme Court has issued a death sentence to Terri Schiavo. In response to this unjust decision we are issuing a national call for all people of conscience to stand in solidarity with our dear sister. Our hope and prayer is that scores will come from across the nation just as they did for Chief Justice Roy Moore in Alabama," said director of the Christian Defense Coalition Rev. Patrick Mahoney.
"A society has sunk to it lowest when it abandons the sick and helpless. Should this prove the end of the line for Terri and her loving family, this will be a deep shame that our country will carry for a terribly long time," said Rev. Rob Schenck, president of the National Clergy Council.

Supreme Court Denies Schiavo Appeal, Says National Clergy Council

We were posting at the same time the same article. Your keyboard is faster.
Attorney Ken Connor tells reporters that since the U.S. Supreme Court is declining to take the case, the governor's participation in the Terri Schiavo (SHY'-voh) case has ended. He says it's regrettable that the governor never got to have his day in court.
FV SAYS: So if the governor doesn't get his day in court, he WILL CAVE AND ALLOW TERRI TO BE MURDERED?
President Bush's speech the other day: EMPTY WORDS SPOKEN IN A VACUUM.
TO PROTECT ALL THE REPUBLICANS IN FLORIDA WHO ARE COMPLICIT IN THE FIX TO MURDER TERRI SCHIAVO.
Amen!
Bump. Indeed they are empty words. Someone mentioned to me that he spoke about freedom but not about justice.
I was just thinking the same thing. We were both reading the same report!
CR says...How can Terri improve when Hino refuses to allow any kind of therphy be done for her???
His current wife should be concerned while she waits for her pristine wedding in a Catholic Church. She cannot marry Michael if he is divorced BUT, SHE CAN MARRY HIM IF HE CONS THE STATE INTO MURDERING TERRI.
I love how these morons don't even investigate the material they "write".
"Let's see, since she can swallow her own saliva, and it doesn't have to be suctioned out to keep her from choking on it, maybe it will be okay if we just go with what the court says is going on, instead of telling people the truth."
Then how about the part of how Terri collapsed from an eating disorder? Puhleaze! Michael's the one who came up with that diagnosis, too.

Felos was hesitant to predict if pending legal motions would mean Mrs. Schiavo is kept alive for weeks, months or longer.
"The only issue here is when the courts are going to summon up the resolve to say, 'No more. We're not going to put up with these frivolous motions and give stays and permit any other delays,'" he said.
Felos can go kick himself.

COVERUP, COVERUP, COVERUP. That was Judge David Demers part - firing Jay Wolfson. Sick thought but Judge Greer wants Demers' job. GREER WANTS TO BE CHIEF JUDGE so he can ruin all of our lives here.
